Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) reopened applications for 237 Lecturer (Group-B) posts on February 4, 2025, but that window closed on February 19, 2025. The headline’s “today” refers to February 4, 2025—not the current date. Applications are not open under that reopening.
Which HPSC recruitment did the reopening cover?
The recruitment was advertised under HPSC Advertisement Nos. 72–87 of 2024 for Lecturer (Group-B) posts in Haryana’s Higher Education Department, Directorate of Technical Education. The reproduced advertisement lists 237 posts. Scroll’s February 4, 2025 report covered the reopening, while a reproduced copy of the original notice identifies the advertisement and vacancy total.

The original advertisement was published on November 6, 2024. The reopening was a past registration period, not a current extension or active application opportunity.
What did the reopening notice change?
The February 2025 corrigendum included directions on category selection and certificate updates for affected applicants; it was not simply a general extension without conditions. It instructed applicants who had previously applied as SC to identify as DSC or OSC where applicable, and gave new DSC/OSC applicants directions to submit the relevant current certificate. It also addressed documentation for BC-A, BC-B, EWS, ESM and DESM categories. These were instructions for that closed portal period, not a current correction process. The reproduced corrigendum stated that the other conditions of the original advertisement remained applicable.

Is there a later result update?
A secondary report by NayaWork says HPSC announced a correction on September 29, 2026, to Result-II dated April 10, 2026, for Lecturer posts in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmacy and Foreman Instructor. That report concerns only the listed posts; it does not establish the status of every vacancy in the 237-post recruitment. Candidates should check the HPSC notice that applies to their own subject and advertisement.

Use the Haryana Public Service Commission’s official website and the notice for the relevant subject, category and advertisement number to check eligibility, any later notice, and result status. The source copies available for the 2024 advertisement and reopening corrigendum were hosted copies rather than HPSC-domain pages, so treat them as reproduced notices and verify details against HPSC. Haryana’s One Time Registration portal concerns HSSC-managed Group C and D and non-gazetted teaching-post workflows; it should not be mistaken for the HPSC lecturer application.
