What did HEXminer advertise?
In a company-authored GlobeNewswire release dated February 17, 2025, HEXminer promoted cloud mining for Dogecoin and Bitcoin. It also claimed daily payouts, zero maintenance fees, cold-wallet protection, two-factor authentication, Android and iOS apps, flexible plans, and support for additional currencies. These are statements by the company, not independently verified service features, and the release does not establish that the terms remain available.
The same release presented the following plan amounts and rewards. They are historical claims published by HEXminer—not confirmed current offers, guaranteed outcomes, market statistics, or evidence of customer payouts.

All figures in the table are as stated in the February 17, 2025 HEXminer release; they have not been independently validated. A stated reward is not proof that a customer received it, and a maturity amount is not proof that funds can be withdrawn.

How does Dogecoin mining work?
Dogecoin uses proof of work. Miners contribute computing power to compete under the network’s mining rules; pools combine participants’ hashing power and distribute rewards according to the pool’s rules. Dogecoin’s official Mining Dogecoin guide explains that Dogecoin has supported merged mining with Litecoin and other classic Scrypt cryptocurrencies since 2014. In the guide’s words, miners can contribute to Dogecoin while mining Litecoin, “receiving the mining rewards from multiple blockchains at once for the same amount of work.”
This mining context does not establish that HEXminer uses merged mining, owns mining equipment, or has a verifiable pool arrangement. The guide describes the general Dogecoin mining model, not HEXminer’s implementation.

What does direct Dogecoin mining require?
Dogecoin’s official guide says profitable Dogecoin and other Scrypt mining is generally done with specialized Scrypt ASIC hardware. It identifies a computer, one or more ASIC miners, power supplies, a pool account, relatively inexpensive electricity, and a Dogecoin wallet among the usual requirements. ASICs can be expensive, loud, and hot; they need suitable housing and ventilation and can be difficult to set up. The guide also warns that GPU mining may yield close to no profits while driving up energy bills.
Buying a Scrypt ASIC is a separate route from paying for a cloud-mining contract. The guide does not recommend a particular model, and hardware alone cannot establish profitability: electricity costs, pool fees, hardware efficiency, network conditions, and operating setup all matter.

What is—and is not—verified about HEXminer?
The February 2025 release is a primary source for what HEXminer said, but it does not independently substantiate the claims. The inspected HEXminer site, which surfaced at paten.app, describes customer-funded contracts and revenue allocation; its repetitive FAQ text does not independently establish mining operations or customer results. The domain discrepancy and limited corroboration make it inappropriate to treat the site or release as proof of a functioning, secure, profitable, regulated, or currently available service.
The available material does not independently verify HEXminer’s operator identity or legal status, mining facilities or hashrate, security and custody controls, withdrawal history or terms, or customer payouts. It also does not confirm an affiliate program. Those are distinct questions a prospective customer would need answered before sending money.

How to assess a cloud-mining contract
The HEXminer release and Dogecoin’s mining guide do not provide a reliable, like-for-like profitability comparison between cloud contracts and direct mining. Before considering either route, assess the relevant costs, evidence, and risks rather than relying on a headline reward:

- Contract and payment terms: Identify the upfront payment, duration, fees, renewal rules, and conditions for withdrawing funds. The release’s claims about zero maintenance fees do not establish the full fee or withdrawal schedule.
- Evidence of mining and payouts: Look for verifiable information about the operator, facility, equipment, hashrate, and pool participation, plus independently corroborated customer withdrawals. Marketing figures alone do not demonstrate realized output.
- Custody and counterparty exposure: A cloud contract requires reliance on the service provider and its handling of funds. Claims of cold-wallet protection or two-factor authentication do not, by themselves, verify the controls or remove that dependence.
- Direct-mining costs and responsibilities: Owning ASICs requires hardware and power supplies, electricity, a wallet, pool participation, and a suitable place to manage heat and noise. Hardware also brings purchase and resale risk.
- Changing mining economics: For either approach, coin prices and network difficulty can affect the value of mining output. The sources provide no basis for treating HEXminer’s stated dollar rewards as a dependable forecast.
