Candidates were directed to get it through the Haryana Public Service Commission’s official website, hpsc.gov.in; the commission said cards would not be sent individually.
Why a 2023 exam had an admit-card release in 2024
“2023” identifies the HCS (Executive Branch) and Other Allied Services recruitment and examination cycle, not the calendar year in which the admit card was issued. HPSC announced on 1 February 2024 that downloads would open from 2 February. The Preliminary Examination was scheduled for 11 February 2024, according to NDTV India’s report.

Where to access the HPSC HCS admit card
Start at hpsc.gov.in, HPSC’s official website, and follow the current admit-card or candidate-login link for the HCS examination. The commission’s notice directed candidates to download cards from its website and stated: “The Admit cards are not being sent separately to individual candidates.”

- Open HPSC’s official website and use its admit-card or candidate-login route for the HCS (Executive Branch) and Other Allied Services Preliminary Examination 2023.
- Download the admit card from the candidate area. If the historical link is unavailable, return to the official HPSC site and check for current instructions.
- Print the card on A4-size paper. HPSC said the photograph and other particulars should be easy to see and verify at the examination centre.
- Check that the photograph is clear and the signature is legible. The notice warned that cards with small or unclear photographs or illegible signatures might not be accepted for entry.
The A4 instruction is about the print format; it does not require a particular paper brand or that candidates buy a printer.
