A single ticket from Western Australia won the entire $50 million Division One prize in Powerball draw #1539 on Thursday, November 13, 2025. The ticket was reportedly bought online through Lotterywest Play Online. As of a November 14 report, Lotterywest said the winner had been notified and planned to claim the prize in the following weeks; later claim status has not been established.
What happened in the WA Powerball draw?
“WA” means Western Australia, not Washington State. PerthNow reported that the sole Division One-winning ticket in draw #1539 took the full $50 million prize. The draw’s winning numbers were 22, 10, 6, 15, 2, 8 and 7, with Powerball 13.
PerthNow reported more than 178,000 prizes across the other divisions. Those additional wins did not share the Division One jackpot. One Division Two ticket sold by The Lucky Charm Willetton was reported at $160,671.15 in PerthNow’s November 13 coverage. Its November 14 report printed a conflicting figure, apparently due to a transposition error.
Where was the winning ticket bought?
PerthNow reported on November 14 that the winning entry was purchased through Lotterywest’s Play Online portal. Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said the winner was notified on Friday morning, November 14, and was planning to visit Lotterywest to claim the prize in the following weeks.

That is the status reported at the time, not confirmation of a later claim. The available reporting does not establish whether the prize has since been claimed or whether the winner wishes to be publicly identified.
How does this win compare with earlier WA jackpots?
Lotterywest Acting CEO Lorna Pritchard told PerthNow that this was Western Australia’s fourth Powerball Division One win of 2025. She said the previous WA Division One win of comparable size was a $53 million prize shared by 18 workmates in October 2022.
