Published estimates put Georginio Rutter’s Leeds United wage at £70,000 per week in 2023/24 and his Brighton wage at £75,000 per week in 2024/25. That is a nominal difference of £5,000 a week, but it is not a confirmed pay rise: the Brighton figure is explicitly marked “Unverified estimation,” and another listing puts it at £44,000 per week.

The annual figures shown alongside the Leeds and FBref/Capology weekly numbers are their 52-week equivalents. They are not independently verified totals or proof of Rutter’s take-home pay.
How large is the estimated difference?
Comparing the £70,000 Leeds estimate with FBref/Capology’s £75,000 Brighton estimate gives a nominal increase of £5,000 per week. Multiplied by 52 weeks, that is £260,000. This is arithmetic applied to two reported estimates, not evidence that Rutter’s contract guaranteed him a raise of that amount.
Why the Brighton figures do not establish his actual wage
The Brighton estimates disagree materially: FBref/Capology lists £75,000 per week and marks it “Unverified estimation,” while Sporty Salaries lists £44,000 per week. SalaryLeaks’ 2024/25 team table also lists £75,000 per week, but its player page gives differing Brighton figures in different sections. These salary aggregators are not authoritative contract records, and their disagreement means there is no dependable consensus in the published estimates cited here.

The figures come from secondary wage tables or reporting that cites salary-data providers; no official club or player disclosure of Rutter’s personal wage is established by these sources. They also do not state whether the amounts include bonuses, image rights, tax treatment, or other contract terms. Those details should not be inferred from a weekly estimate.
