What was the last advertised Scale I deadline?
GIC Re’s detailed advertisement, dated 4 December 2024, invited applications from Indian citizens for 110 Assistant Manager (Scale I) posts. It set 19 December 2024 as the final date for online registration. That deadline is historical, not an active opportunity to apply.

The notice listed 5 January 2025 as a tentative online examination date and said call letters would be available beginning seven days before the exam. Those dates applied to the 2024–25 recruitment cycle only.
The advertisement specified: “Candidates should apply through On-Line mode only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.” This was an instruction for that closed recruitment, not evidence of a currently available form. Read the official 2024 advertisement for its historical details.

How to check for a new official notice
- Open the GIC Re careers page.
- Look for a newly published recruitment advertisement for Assistant Manager (Scale I), and confirm its publication date and application schedule.
- Use the new notice—not the 2024 advertisement—to verify the post, eligible disciplines, age and education cutoffs, fees and exemptions, vacancies, selection stages, exam dates, and official application route.
- Apply only through the route specified in that new official notice, if registration is open.
The official GIC Re homepage is another place to check current notices. A future opening is not established by the listings reviewed here, so confirm the status directly on the official site before making plans or submitting personal information.
