A September 2026 la Repubblica report estimates his real-estate portfolio at more than €30 million, but explicitly describes that as a market estimate—not an official accounting value or a calculation of his total wealth. Property estimates, past football pay and company accounts measure different things, so they cannot be added into a credible net-worth total.
What is Francesco Totti’s net worth?
No complete, verified public accounting of Totti’s current assets and liabilities is available in the cited reports. La Repubblica says that estimating his total wealth is practically impossible. Its figure of more than €30 million applies to the estimated market value of real estate, not to his net worth.
Net worth means assets minus liabilities at a particular point in time. A property portfolio estimate does not reveal mortgages or other debts, and it does not capture all other assets, investments, taxes or obligations. The reported figure is therefore useful context, not a defensible personal balance-sheet total.
What the reported figures measure
| Reported figure | What it covers | Why it is not his net worth |
|---|---|---|
| More than €30 million | La Repubblica’s September 2026 market estimate for Totti’s real-estate portfolio. | It is not an official book value and does not establish property debt or the value of his other assets and liabilities. |
| €84.25 million net | Calcio e Finanza’s July 2022 report of Roma salary and image-rights compensation from 1996/97 through 2016/17. | It is historical compensation, not the amount retained today after spending, investment decisions and other financial activity. |
| About €152 million gross club cost | Calcio e Finanza’s estimate of Roma’s gross cost for that same playing-career period. | It is the club’s gross cost, not Totti’s net pay or current wealth. |
| €1.2 million net | Calcio e Finanza’s report of executive compensation for 2017/18 and 2018/19. | It is pay across two past seasons, not a current income figure or wealth estimate. |
| €2.092 million revenue; €82,543 profit | Open’s July 2025 report of combined 2024 accounts for eight directly or indirectly controlled companies. | These are company-level revenue and profit figures, not personal income or a consolidated personal balance sheet. |
| €5.7 million | Open’s reported total of shareholder loans the eight businesses owed to Totti. | A company’s repayment obligation is a receivable for the lender, not company profit; it should not be added to revenue or treated as cash already collected. |
What Totti’s past football earnings tell us
Calcio e Finanza reported that Totti received €84.25 million net from Roma in salary and image rights between the 1996/97 and 2016/17 seasons. The same July 2022 report put Roma’s gross cost for that period at about €152 million. Those amounts answer different questions: one is reported net compensation to the player, while the other is the club’s gross cost.

Totti made his Roma senior debut in 1992, spent a quarter-century at the club and retired in 2017, according to The Guardian. His long career helps explain the scale of historical compensation, but career earnings are a flow over time, not a snapshot of what someone owns now. In the same interview, Totti recalled receiving a Real Madrid offer in 2006 that he believed would have made him the world’s best-paid player; that is his recollection, not an independently verified contract figure.
What Totti’s companies reported in 2024
Open’s July 2025 review of eight directly or indirectly controlled companies reported €2.092 million in combined revenue and €82,543 in combined profit for 2024, following a combined €879,000 loss in 2023. These figures describe the reviewed companies’ accounts for those years; they do not establish Totti’s personal earnings or the present value of his business interests.

Some company results varied considerably
Open reported that CT10 had €316,810 in revenue and €80,049 in profit in 2024. IT Scouting reported no revenue and a €17,601 loss, while TZ Service reported €1,025 in revenue and a €1,776 loss. These individual results show why a group revenue total should not be mistaken for personal income or assumed to represent the performance of every business.
Shareholder loans are separate from profit
The €5.7 million Open reported as owed to Totti by the companies represents shareholder loans to repay. It is distinct from their revenue and profit. The report does not establish how much had been repaid, when repayment was due, or the value of any other company assets or liabilities.

Property, business structure and the Ten Padel project
La Repubblica’s September 2026 profile describes property holdings in Rome and coastal locations, including Sabaudia, and identifies Number Ten Srl as the center of the business structure, with Totti as its sole shareholder. The report’s property figure is an estimated market value rather than a formal balance-sheet valuation; the article does not provide a complete accounting of associated liabilities.
The profile also describes Ten Padel, a sports and services center project in Rome. It reports that Invitalia granted Ten Padel Srl €1.357 million on 27 March 2025. That is project financing to the company, not evidence of personal earnings, a personal asset worth that amount, or proof that the project is profitable.
Why the public figures cannot be combined
- Different measures: estimated property market value, historical pay, company revenue, company profit and shareholder loans are not interchangeable.
- Different time periods: the football-pay reports cover past seasons; the company figures cover 2024; the property estimate is from 2026.
- Different owners and accounting levels: company turnover belongs to business accounts, while personal wealth requires a personal balance sheet.
- Missing liabilities and assets: the cited reporting does not provide a complete inventory of Totti’s debts, taxes, investments and other personal assets.
Adding these numbers together would produce a misleading total. The most responsible conclusion is that his current net worth is not publicly established. The available figures offer limited views of particular assets, past compensation and business activity, not a verified total.
