The official National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) archive lists the final answer keys for the 2023 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) Staff Selection Exam (ESSE-2023). Choose the correct post, subject and question set before comparing your responses. The provisional-key challenge period was part of the historical exam process; the current archive is for checking final keys.
Where to find the EMRS 2023 final answer key
Use the official NESTS Final Answer Keys for ESSE-2023 archive. It lists keys for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Hostel Warden, Accountant and Lab Attendant. If a saved link does not open, start from the ESSE-2023 recruitment page, which also connects to recruitment records such as the answer keys, schedule and results.
How to check your answers
- Open the NESTS final-key archive.
- Select the post you took the exam for: PGT, TGT, Hostel Warden, Accountant or Lab Attendant.
- Check the subject and question-set label on the key against the subject and set on your exam paper.
- Compare your recorded responses with the matching final key. Do not use a key for a different post, subject or set.
A NESTS key PDF is labeled for the examination held on 23 December 2023 and dated 9 January 2024. Its tables are organized by post, subject and question set, so verify all three labels before using it: official NESTS answer-key PDF.
Answer key versus result
The final key gives the answers used for checking responses; it is not an appointment or selection notice. For result records, use the separate official ESSE-2023 results page, which lists results by post and subject. The ESSE-2023 information bulletin says results are prepared using the final answer keys.

The ESSE-2023 information bulletin describes a notified period for viewing OMR answer sheets and provisional keys, submitting challenges for a prescribed fee per question, expert review, and preparation of final keys. It also says challenges would not be entertained after result declaration. Those were steps in the 2023 exam process, not an open challenge opportunity now. See the official ESSE-2023 information bulletin for the stated procedure.
A Scroll report published on 4 January 2024 reported a ₹1,000 fee per question but displayed a deadline of “January 6, 2023,” a date earlier than the report itself. That date is internally inconsistent and should not be treated as a verified deadline. The official materials cited here do not establish the exact closing date, and the historical challenge window should not be assumed to remain open.
