What was in the Nine Inch Nails collection?
The collaboration paired three Dr. Martens silhouettes with distinct references to the album and the band’s performances. Nine Inch Nails’ official announcement described the styles as being made with premium Backhand and Smooth leathers.

The band’s announcement also mentioned a special 1490 embossed with album artwork that would be gifted to select fans. That was described as a giveaway, not as a generally purchasable fourth style. Nine Inch Nails’ official announcement
What details are confirmed for the 1461?
Dr. Martens’ Canadian product page identifies the 1461 as style 32173001. Its listed details include an artworked vamp, Backhand and Smooth leathers, an NIN-embossed rubber-grain toe cap, a black commando tread sole, yellow welt stitching, and two lace sets: one NIN-branded and one plain black. Dr. Martens describes this model as Goodyear welted and labels its sizing feedback “True to size.” These product-page specifications apply to the 1461, not automatically to the 1460 or 1490. When did it launch, and can you still buy it?
The official band announcement said the collection would be available starting July 19 through Dr. Martens and select retailers. The date is historical 2024 release information, not an upcoming launch date. The announcement itself does not state a year in the extracted copy; Dr. Martens frames the collaboration as a 30th-anniversary tribute, and the release context is 2024. At the time reflected by the official pages cited here, Dr. Martens’ EU collaboration page marked the collection sold out, its Canadian 1461 page said it was no longer available, and Dr. Martens Korea listed all three models as sold out. What to check before buying secondhand
Because official regional listings show sold-out or unavailable status and a restock is unlikely, a resale listing may be the only option if you are looking for a particular style. Inventory and seller legitimacy are not established by the official pages, so check the specific offer rather than assuming any search result is an authorized or available product.
