The name can be confusing because Forbes publishes regional editions as well as the U.S. list. Its separate Europe Class of 2024 featured 300 people across 10 industries, according to Forbes’ Europe 2024 overview. Those are distinct editions; their honorees and totals should not be combined.
How Forbes said it selected honorees
Forbes said writers and editors evaluated candidates with input from independent expert judges. Stated considerations included funding, revenue, social impact, inventiveness and potential. The coverage names judges including Alex Cooper, Ayo Edebiri, Devin Booker and Thomas Dohmke.

Forbes’ Art & Style coverage illustrates the range within one category, rather than representing all 20 industries. It named Chella Man, Paul Hill, Ramin Ahmari, Isabella Lalonde and Tillie Walden. The 2023 feature, updated in 2024, described Hill’s gallery venture Strada World, Ahmari’s AI-driven fashion brand Finesse, Lalonde’s Beepy Bella jewelry and accessories, and Walden’s published books. These are examples as reported in that feature, not confirmation of the ventures’ current status. Read Forbes’ Art & Style feature for its full category coverage.

How to interpret the list as a reader
- Read it as recognition, not a financial endorsement. Inclusion does not by itself establish that a company is profitable, investable or likely to succeed.
- Keep the edition in view. The U.S. and Europe lists cover different geographies and have separate totals.
- Check dates before relying on a business example. The profiles report what Forbes described around publication; they do not establish whether a venture still operates in the same form.
