A “BRABUS G-Wagon” does not have one fixed price. BRABUS modifies Mercedes-AMG G 63 vehicles and sells both conversion work and complete, highly customized cars. The amount you pay depends on the version, equipment, taxes, shipping, import costs, and whether the vehicle is new or used.
For a current benchmark, the U.S.-market 2027 Mercedes-AMG G 63 starts at $198,750 MSRP before options, taxes, delivery, and dealer charges. Current BRABUS complete-vehicle listings are substantially higher: the BRABUS 800 SUPERBLACK is listed at €565,935.68 gross, while the limited BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION is listed at €678,144.82 gross in Germany.
What is the price of a BRABUS G-Wagon?
There is no universal BRABUS G-Wagon price because the name covers different products. A BRABUS performance package may cost far less than a complete car with BRABUS bodywork, wheels, exhaust, interior, and paintwork. A used example may also be priced very differently from a newly commissioned vehicle.
The clearest current benchmarks are BRABUS’s complete-vehicle listings:

Mercedes-AMG G 63 versus BRABUS versions
The Mercedes-AMG G 63 is the donor vehicle for current BRABUS G-Class supercars. The current U.S.-market 2027 G 63 lists at $198,750 MSRP before extras. It produces 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque from a handcrafted 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine with hybrid assist, with a stated 0–60 mph time of 4.2 seconds.
The BRABUS versions retain the basic G-Class concept but add substantially more power and extensive hardware and cosmetic changes. The price difference is therefore not simply a charge for a software tune.
BRABUS 800 SUPERBLACK performance
The BRABUS 800 SUPERBLACK is based on the W465-generation Mercedes-AMG G 63. Its key specifications are:

| Specification | BRABUS 800 SUPERBLACK |
|---|---|
| Engine | 3,982-cc V8 |
| Power | 800 hp / 588 kW |
| Torque | 1,000 Nm / 737 lb-ft |
| 0–100 km/h | 4.0 seconds |
| 0–60 mph | 4.0 seconds |
| Top speed | 240 km/h / 149 mph |
| Combined consumption | 14.8 L/100 km |
| Wheels | 24-inch forged BRABUS wheels |
BRABUS uses its PowerXtra B40S-800 performance kit, specially developed turbochargers, a valve-controlled sports exhaust, carbon body components, upgraded brakes, and a bespoke Masterpiece interior. The vehicle is built to order and can be individually specified.
Compared with the 577-hp G 63, the 800 SUPERBLACK adds approximately 223 hp. The improvement in the quoted 0–60 mph time is smaller than the power increase might suggest: 4.0 seconds versus 4.2 seconds. The G-Class is a large, heavy, upright SUV, so traction, weight, gearing, tires, and electronic limits all affect acceleration.
BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION performance
The BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION is the more powerful and limited version. It is also based on the current W465 G 63, but BRABUS makes deeper engine changes than a basic calibration upgrade.
| Specification | BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION |
|---|---|
| Engine | 4,407-cc / 4.5-liter BRABUS V8 |
| Power | 900 hp / 662 kW |
| Maximum torque | 1,250 Nm / 922 lb-ft |

| 0–60 mph | 3.7 seconds |
| Top speed | 240 km/h / 149 mph |
| Wheels | 24-inch forged wheels with carbon Aero Blades |
| Production | 30 examples |
BRABUS increases displacement with a custom crankshaft, forged pistons, special connecting rods, larger turbochargers, higher-capacity fuel pumps, revised engine calibration, and a high-performance exhaust system.

One important qualification is easy to miss: 1,250 Nm is the maximum headline torque figure, not the unrestricted everyday setting. BRABUS says torque is electronically limited to 1,050 Nm to protect drivetrain components during normal use.
Against the current 577-hp G 63, the BRABUS 900 adds approximately 323 hp. Its quoted 3.7-second 0–60 mph time is 0.5 seconds quicker than the standard G 63.
Price and performance comparison
| Vehicle | Power | Torque | 0–60 mph | Top speed | Current price reference |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2027 Mercedes-AMG G 63 | 577 hp | 627 lb-ft | 4.2 sec | Not listed on the U.S. page | $198,750 U.S. MSRP |
| BRABUS 800 SUPERBLACK | 800 hp | 737 lb-ft | 4.0 sec | 149 mph | €565,935.68 gross |
| BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION | 900 hp | 922 lb-ft maximum | 3.7 sec | 149 mph | €678,144.82 gross |
The figures show why the price cannot be judged only by the acceleration number. The 800 SUPERBLACK costs far more than the donor G 63, yet its quoted 0–60 mph advantage is 0.2 seconds. The premium also pays for the engine hardware, carbon bodywork, forged wheels, exhaust, brakes, interior craftsmanship, limited production, and customization.
What a buyer should budget for
- Start with the correct vehicle price. Confirm whether a quote covers only a BRABUS kit, a donor Mercedes-AMG G 63, or a completed BRABUS vehicle.
- Check gross versus net pricing. The BRABUS Germany listings show both figures. Gross pricing includes German VAT in the displayed listing, while net pricing does not. Neither figure is automatically the final cost in another country.
- Add delivery and import expenses. Ex-works Bottrop means the listed amount is based on collection or delivery from BRABUS’s facility in Germany, not delivery to a U.S. driveway.
- Price the specification. Paint, interior materials, wheels, carbon components, and other bespoke choices can materially alter the invoice.
- Confirm registration and insurance treatment. A high-powered, heavily modified vehicle may have different insurance and registration considerations from a standard G 63.
- Use the exact model year and chassis generation. Older W463A cars and current W465 cars can have different power, top-speed, production, and price claims.
Commonly repeated BRABUS price and performance errors
“The current BRABUS 900 is limited to 25 cars”
The older W463A BRABUS 900 Rocket Edition was advertised as “1 of 25.” The current W465 listing is marked “1 OF 30.” Those are different generations and should not be treated as the same production run.

“The current BRABUS 900 reaches 280 km/h”
The older W463A version lists a 280-km/h electronically limited top speed. The current W465 BRABUS 900 listing specifies 240 km/h, or 149 mph.
“The BRABUS 900 has 1,250 Nm all the time”
It does not use that maximum figure as its everyday drivetrain setting. BRABUS states that torque is electronically limited to 1,050 Nm for normal drivetrain protection.
“A BRABUS 800 costs about €200,000”
That amount may describe an older car, a tuning package, or only part of a conversion. The current complete BRABUS 800 SUPERBLACK listing is €565,935.68 gross in Germany.
“789 bhp and 800 hp describe different current cars”
Older or market-specific material may use 789 bhp, while the current official page reports 800 hp / 588 kW. The difference is generally a horsepower-unit conversion or presentation difference, not proof of a separate current model.

Are BRABUS performance figures guaranteed?
No. BRABUS describes the published performance figures as approximate. Results can vary with equipment, curb weight, gearing, tires, transmission, aerodynamic equipment, and test conditions. The company also notes that test-related deviations of approximately ±5% may occur.
That matters when comparing a manufacturer claim with an independently tested acceleration time. It also means a buyer should not treat the quoted 3.7- or 4.0-second time as a guarantee for every configuration.

Is a BRABUS G-Wagon more expensive than a Mercedes-AMG G 63?
Yes. The current U.S.-market 2027 Mercedes-AMG G 63 starts at $198,750 MSRP before options and charges, while current complete BRABUS listings are priced at more than €565,000 gross. The BRABUS price reflects extensive engine, exhaust, brake, body, wheel, and interior modifications, as well as customization.
