Dome returned to Scarborough on 15 April 2024, opening a cafe on the boardwalk between Scarborough Beach Pool and Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club. PerthNow reported that diners could see the Indian Ocean from nearly every table. The opening gives beach and pool visitors a nearby place to eat, with the cafe’s current hours and menu best checked directly before a visit.
Where is Dome Scarborough?
The cafe is on the Scarborough beachfront boardwalk, in a former gym site between Stirling Leisure – Scarborough Beach and Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club. Dome opened the venue on Monday, 15 April 2024, according to PerthNow’s report.
Can you see the ocean from the cafe?
Yes. PerthNow described an Indian Ocean view from nearly every table. Dome marketing executive Narelle Sisley put it more simply ahead of the opening: “You can’t not see the ocean.” The boardwalk position is the defining feature of the location, rather than a claim that the venue is better than other Scarborough cafes.
What hours and menu were announced?
At the 2024 opening, Dome said food and its full menu would be available from 6am to 9pm daily. Those were opening-period details, not verified current hours or menu information. Check with Dome before setting out, especially for an early breakfast or evening visit; the available information does not establish today’s schedule.

Stirling Leisure – Scarborough Beach
The City of Stirling lists an outdoor 50-metre pool, four 25-metre lanes and a leisure pool at the facility next to the cafe. Its summer-hours schedule commenced on 29 September 2026, but pool hours and public-holiday arrangements can change. Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club and the beach
The cafe sits by the surf club and beachfront boardwalk, making it a convenient stop for people already spending time along the coast. The sources establish its position relative to the pool and club, but do not give walking distances or parking details.

What to know about the venue
PerthNow reported in 2024 that Dome had just over 50 cafes in Western Australia and that the Scarborough venue was expected to employ 26 people under cafe manager Jessica Atter. These are figures attributed to Dome at the time, not current company or staffing counts. Dome’s careers page listed positions at DOME SCARBOROUGH BEACHFRONT during 2026, indicating a continuing venue presence but not confirming its customer-facing hours or menu.
