It is an entertainment-media estimate, not a verified statement of his assets, debts, or current income.
How reliable is the $18 million estimate?
ComingSoon reported the $18 million estimate on April 7, 2025, attributing Lundgren’s earnings broadly to acting, filmmaking, martial arts, and a reported vodka venture. Legit.ng repeated the same figure in an article updated April 13, 2026, citing ComingSoon and Celebrity Net Worth. These repetitions do not amount to independent confirmation: neither report provides financial statements, a documented calculation of assets and liabilities, or a direct confirmation from Lundgren. ComingSoon’s estimate and Legit.ng’s updated article should therefore be read as secondary estimates.
No verified range can be established from the figures available. In particular, the $18 million claim should not be presented as a measured 2026 net worth or a confirmed amount Lundgren currently holds.
What the public figures do—and do not—show
Selected historical film earnings
Celebrity Net Worth lists reported earnings of $1 million for Retrograde, $2 million for Blackjack, $2.5 million for The Peacekeeper, and $3.1 million for Hidden Assassin—$8.6 million across those four selected titles. The site describes its net-worth figures as estimates drawn from public sources and, in some cases, private tips. These historical amounts are not verified contracts, do not represent Lundgren’s total career earnings, and are not a calculation of current net worth. Celebrity Net Worth’s profile gives the figures and its estimate methodology.
#1 Best Overall
Reported home sale
Celebrity Net Worth reports that Lundgren listed a Hollywood Hills home for $4.5 million in 2020 and sold it for $3.71 million in November 2021. Those are reported listing and sale prices, not evidence of the cash he received after any mortgage payoff, taxes, or transaction costs. A property sale also says nothing by itself about other assets or liabilities.
Reported business venture
ComingSoon’s 2025 article also reported that Lundgren launched Hard Cut Vodka. That report establishes neither the venture’s present availability or sales nor how much, if anything, it contributes to his wealth.
Why his career makes the estimate plausible—but not verifiable
Lundgren’s official biography says his screen debut came in the 1985 James Bond film A View to a Kill, followed that year by his breakout role as Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. It describes work across acting, directing, and producing, as well as his martial-arts background. A long career across several kinds of entertainment work can help explain why estimates circulate, but credits alone do not reveal pay, expenses, ownership stakes, or accumulated wealth. Lundgren’s official biography provides career context, not financial records.
His fitness background also led to the 2014 book Train Like an Action Star, published by Skyhorse Publishing, according to the official biography. The book is a documented part of his work, but there is no evidence here to quantify its sales or treat it as a significant source of wealth.
What to make of claims about his salary
Online articles sometimes assign Lundgren a per-film salary or attach individual pay figures to particular productions. The available claims are not supported by primary records in the sources reviewed: Legit.ng’s salary range and several historical amounts are attributed to The Richest, while its claim about an Expendables salary is attributed to a Facebook source. They are too far removed from documented contracts to establish what Lundgren earned, and should not be treated as reliable proof of his income.
Likewise, film compensation is not the same as net worth. A person’s net worth depends on assets minus liabilities; even a well-documented paycheck would not reveal taxes, expenses, investments, debt, or what remains today.
Rank #4
What is known, and what remains unknown
- Known as a published estimate: entertainment outlets have repeated a figure of $18 million, most directly in ComingSoon’s 2025 report and Legit.ng’s 2026 update.
- Not established: a primary disclosure, audited balance sheet, independently verified asset inventory, or reliable current income breakdown confirming that amount.
- Useful context, not proof: his film and filmmaking career, selected reported historical earnings, the home transaction, and the vodka venture do not establish his present net worth.
A cautious answer is therefore that Lundgren is often estimated to be worth $18 million, while the true figure is not publicly verified.
