Which Disney+, Hulu and ESPN prices changed?
CBS reported the September 23, 2026 price changes for U.S. plans. The table compares the reported prior monthly price with the new price; ESPN standalone prices are the current rates listed by ESPN Fan Support, not a before-and-after comparison.

Standalone ESPN Select and Unlimited
ESPN Fan Support’s October 5, 2026 pricing page lists ESPN Select at $13.99 monthly or $139.99 annually, and ESPN Unlimited at $31.99 monthly or $319.99 annually. These are standalone ESPN prices, distinct from the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN bundles above. ESPN Fan Support provides the rates and billing terms.

When will the higher price appear on your bill?
New subscribers faced the announced rates immediately on September 23, according to CBS. Existing subscribers do not all move to the new price on the same date: the reports and support information describe service-specific billing transitions.
- Disney+: Disney help-center search information cited in the reporting indicated that existing subscribers who signed up before the change would see the new rate on billing cycles dated October 21, 2026 or later.
- ESPN Select and Unlimited: ESPN Fan Support says subscribers who joined before August 20, 2026 keep their previous rate until their first billing date after September 17, 2026.
- Hulu and bundles: CBS reported that existing subscribers would see the changed rates “next month,” but that is not a single renewal date for every account.
Your renewal date and amount depend on your own billing cycle. If you pay through a third party, such as a platform or billing partner, its account page or notice may be the most useful place to confirm the next charge. The published timing does not establish an individual account’s renewal date or whether it qualifies for an older rate.

Watch for introductory prices before comparing plans
Disney’s bundle signup page displays six-month introductory pricing for Disney+/Hulu: $11.99 per month for the ad-supported bundle and $19.99 per month for Premium. After that introductory period, the page lists monthly renewal prices of $12.99 and $21.99, respectively. The introductory amount is temporary, so compare the renewal price—not just the signup offer—against your current bill.
Disney says cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period, with additional terms if you cancel during the six-month introductory term. Review the terms on the bundle page before signing up or cancelling during a promotion.

How to decide whether to keep a standalone plan or bundle
A bundle is not automatically cheaper for every household. Compare the monthly renewal charge with the separate services you actually use, and account for whether you want ads, which ESPN tier you need, and whether you would otherwise pay annually for ESPN.

- Compare equivalent viewing: An ad-supported bundle is not a direct substitute for ad-free standalone plans. Decide first whether avoiding ads matters to you.
- Count services you use: Bundling can make sense if your household regularly watches each included service. A lower combined price has little value if one of the services would go unused.
- Choose the right ESPN tier: ESPN Select and ESPN Unlimited have separate standalone rates, and the bundle options are priced differently. Check which service access fits your viewing needs before comparing totals.
- Compare recurring costs: Use the post-promotion renewal rate, and compare a monthly plan with ESPN’s listed annual option only if paying upfront works for your budget.
- Check the account before changing anything: Confirm the renewal amount and date through the service or billing provider. The public prices do not determine legacy-plan eligibility or third-party account terms.
