The Delhi High Court’s notice dated 14 August 2026 is a preliminary-exam result and shortlist for the written Mains examination—not a 2026 final result. To check it, open the Court’s Recruitment Results page, find the 2026 HJS shortlist entry and select Download.

How to check the Delhi HJS 2026 result

  1. Open the High Court of Delhi’s official Recruitment Results page.

  2. Find the entry titled “Result of Candidates Shortlisted for Delhi Higher Judicial Service Mains Examination (Written) – 2026,” dated 14 August 2026.

  3. Select its Download link to open the notice. The PDF is also available directly from the official 2026 shortlist notice.

Use the notice published on the High Court domain rather than an older result or an unofficial copy. Recruitment listings can change, so check the official page for any newer notice before relying on the status below.

Is the 2026 Delhi HJS final result out?

The 2026 notice is not a final merit list. It records candidates shortlisted on the basis of the Preliminary Examination held on 26 July 2026 for provisional admission to the written Mains examination. The official updates reviewed also included later Mains-process notices, including a rescheduling notice; they do not establish that a 2026 final result has been released. Check the live results page for any subsequent final-result notice.

2026 shortlist versus the 2024 final result

The High Court website also carries a final result from an earlier examination cycle. Its year and stage distinguish it from the 2026 shortlist.

Examination cycle What the notice reports Publication date
2026 Preliminary result: candidates shortlisted for written Mains, with provisional admission 14 August 2026
2024 Final category-wise merit result based on Mains and viva voce performance 20 August 2025

The separate official results listing is the appropriate place to locate notices for each cycle. The 2024 final result is not the final result for the 2026 examination.

What the 2026 notice means for candidates

Shortlisting for Mains is an intermediate selection stage. The notice identifies candidates selected from the Preliminary Examination for provisional admission to the written examination; it does not report the final merit order after Mains and viva voce. Candidates should follow the High Court’s subsequent official notices for the Mains process and any later result.
