Dasha Daley said she moved from full-time OnlyFans content creation to regular employment because she found the work lonely and boring and wanted more routine, social contact and a sense of purpose. Her move was not necessarily a permanent departure from making content: she said she might do it when she needed extra money.
What Dasha Daley said changed
In a TikTok video described by PerthNow’s 21 May 2023 report, Daley called it her first day at a regular job after two years as an adult content creator on OnlyFans. After a 10-hour shift, she said she was exhausted but felt fulfilled to have a normal job and to have worked.
She described content creation as lonely and boring, and said she felt better with a job that provided structure and purpose. As she put it, “I’d rather just have a real job and feel like I’ve got a purpose helping society.”
Did she quit OnlyFans permanently?
The report supports a move away from full-time creator work, not a confirmed permanent exit from OnlyFans or all content creation. Daley said she would make content when she needed extra money. PerthNow’s report does not establish what she does now.

Her concerns about the work
Daley said she had faced online hate and bullying and believed the work could affect relationships and future employment. Those are her concerns, as reported in 2023; the article does not establish how common those experiences are among creators.
She also cautioned against assuming the work meant easy money: “This job has a lot of sacrifices, and that ‘easy money’ doesn’t come easy,” she said. She described the online work as not sustainable indefinitely and advised having a plan B and an exit plan. That is her personal advice, not a universal rule about employment or creator work.

What her story can—and cannot—tell you
Daley’s account offers one person’s reasons for choosing regular employment: less isolation, more structure and a stronger sense of purpose. It is not a systematic comparison of creator work and a 9-to-5 job, nor does it establish typical income, wellbeing or career outcomes. The report’s two years of creator work and her 10-hour first shift describe Daley’s experience alone, not industry-wide figures.
