Amazon removed the separate consumer archive view, and previously archived purchases are now generally included in Your Orders.
To locate one, open your order history, search by product or seller, or change the date filter from the default recent period to the year when you bought the item.
Find an archived Amazon order on a computer
- Go to Amazon and sign in to the account that placed the order.
- Open Returns & Orders in the top navigation. You can also go to Account & Lists > Your Orders.
- In the order-history page, use the search box to enter the product name, brand, seller, or another identifying term.
- If the order is not found, open the date selector, which may display past three months, and choose the year or date range when you purchased it.
- Select the order to see its items, total, payment information, shipping details, invoice options, and refund or return status.
Amazon’s current customer guidance sends shoppers to Your Orders and recommends searching for the purchase or filtering by its original order date. There is no longer a dependable separate destination for consumer archived orders.
Find the order in the Amazon Shopping app
- Open the Amazon Shopping app and sign in.
- Open the account or profile section.
- Tap Your Orders.
- Search for the item, or use the available year or date filter.
- Tap the matching order to open its details.
The exact location of the account icon and the available filters can differ between app versions and Amazon marketplaces. The important point is that the app uses the normal order history; it does not offer a separate archived-order list.

Why the Archived Orders option disappeared
Amazon previously allowed customers to move orders into an archived view to keep them out of the main order list. That feature was not a deletion tool: the order remained attached to the account and could still be accessed through the archive.
Amazon discontinued the consumer feature in 2025. Amazon staff stated in May 2025 that customers could no longer archive new orders, and Amazon’s archived-order notice said the dedicated view would be removed beginning August 19, 2025. Orders that had already been archived were returned to the regular order history.

As a result, older instructions such as Account & Lists > Your Account > Archived Orders or choosing Archived Orders from the date dropdown may no longer match the current site.
What to do if the order is missing

| You are looking for a seller transaction | If you sell on Amazon, use Seller Central reports instead. Seller records and consumer purchases are handled in different systems. |
Archived orders are not deleted orders
Archiving never erased the purchase record. It only moved the order out of the ordinary customer view. Now that the consumer archive page has been removed, anyone with access to the same Amazon login may generally be able to see the account’s purchases in Your Orders.
If your goal is privacy rather than record-keeping, do not rely on an old archive link or on deleting browser history. Browser history does not remove an Amazon order, and Amazon does not provide a supported way to delete an individual purchase from the account’s order history.
For households that need separate order histories, Amazon recommends using separate accounts linked through Amazon Family, where available, rather than treating archived orders as private.

Do not confuse customer archives with Seller Central archives
A consumer checking Your Orders is viewing purchases made from an Amazon shopping account. Sellers have a separate set of order-management and reporting tools in Seller Central. Seller Central may use archived-order reports for older seller transactions, but those reports will not reveal a customer’s archived retail purchases.
If you are a seller trying to retrieve an old transaction, sign in to Seller Central and use its order or reports tools. If you are a shopper, remain in the standard Amazon website or app and use Your Orders.

Outdated methods to avoid
- Do not expect Account & Lists > Your Account > Archived Orders to open a current archive page.
- Do not expect an Archived Orders choice in the order-date dropdown.
- Do not depend on old direct URLs containing an archived-orders page. They may redirect, show an obsolete page, or stop working.
- Do not look for an Unarchive Order link on current order details pages.
- Do not use the mobile app expecting an archived-order tab.
FAQ
Can I still archive a new Amazon order?
Generally, no. Amazon discontinued the consumer order-archiving feature, so current accounts may not show an Archive Order button.
Where did my old archived Amazon orders go?
Previously archived consumer orders are generally available in Your Orders. Search by item or seller, or change the date filter to the year of purchase.
Can I delete an Amazon order from my order history?
Archiving was not deletion, and Amazon does not provide a standard supported option to delete an individual consumer order from the account history.
Why can’t I find an order even after changing the date?
Check the search term, the Amazon marketplace, the email or phone number used to sign in, and any separate shopping profile. Seller Central records are also separate from retail customer orders.
The Bottom Line
There is no longer a reliable separate Archived Orders page for Amazon consumer accounts. Open Your Orders, search for the product or seller, and select the year or date range of the purchase. If privacy is the reason you wanted the archive, remember that archived orders were never deleted and may now be visible to anyone using the same login.
