What the reported discounts mean for your budget
For a newer premium set: RH85H, S95H, and QN80H
The RH85H, S95H, and QN80H prices are meaningful cuts from the former prices reported with the summer offers. They do not, on their own, establish a historical low. Newer models have less price history to compare, so weigh the final checkout cost and your preferred screen size rather than treating the largest dollar reduction as proof of the best deal.

For a clearance opportunity: QN90F and S90F
The QN90F and S90F are older models relative to the 2026 lineup. TechRadar described older Samsung inventory as moving quickly and reported that smaller QN90F sizes had sold out. That makes a desired size potentially more urgent, but a deal is useful only if the actual listing is new, sold by the expected retailer, and available for delivery or pickup on acceptable terms.
For The Frame: value the offer you will use
Samsung’s official promotions page lists a 2026 bezel promotion for qualifying 55-, 65-, 75-, and 85-inch The Frame and The Frame Pro TVs purchased March 30, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Registration is required, and Samsung says a code is sent by email. Check the official Samsung promotions page for current eligibility and redemption terms. A bezel offer may matter to someone buying a lifestyle TV, but it is not equivalent to a cash discount for every shopper.

- A retailer’s Labor Day sale: a store event that may include Samsung televisions, even if Samsung itself has not announced a Labor Day promotion.
- A rebate or bundle: a conditional offer that may require multiple eligible products, registration, or a code. Its value and eligibility differ from a direct price reduction.
- A seasonal or clearance sale: a price that happens to be available in the weeks before the holiday. Call it by its actual event or sale period rather than assuming it is a Labor Day offer.
Samsung’s official Labor Day page currently available describes an appliance promotion from August 21 through September 10, 2025—not a 2026 TV sale. It offered $100 for two qualifying appliances, $250 for three, or $500 for four or more, with another $100 when an eligible Bespoke refrigerator was included. The page listed Samsung.com, Best Buy, Costco, Sam’s Club, Lowe’s, and Home Depot as ineligible retailers for that rebate. Samsung also lists a retailer-based buy-more-save-more promotion running April 1 through September 30, 2026. Its terms cover two or more qualifying Samsung products in one transaction, with TVs among eligible categories; it is not the same as a stand-alone Labor Day TV discount. How to tell whether a TV deal is genuinely exceptional
“Record low” needs a comparison. An official list price is not enough: it may be higher than the price at which the set has routinely sold. The strongest evidence is a tracked price-history record or a clearly attributed historical comparison. For these offers, the specific QN90F claim comes from TechRadar; the other reported discounts should not be promoted as all-time lows on the evidence available here.
- Compare the exact model code and screen size, not just a family name such as QN90F or S90F.
- Check whether the listing is new, open-box, refurbished, or sold by a marketplace seller.
- Compare the cash price with the recent selling price where a reliable history is available, not only the stated former price.
- Separate unconditional price cuts from trade-in credit, account discounts, coupons, financing, gift cards, or free accessories. Each may have different eligibility and may not stack.
- Include tax, delivery, installation, wall-mount hardware, warranty, and possible return costs in your budget.
“Up to $1,100 off” describes the reported $1,100 reduction on the 75-inch QN80H, not a blanket discount on every size or Samsung TV. A price on a 75-inch model cannot establish the value of its 65-inch counterpart, and a lower price on an unwanted size is not a saving you can use.

OLED for contrast and dark-room viewing
OLED is a strong fit for films and shows in darker rooms, where deep blacks and high contrast are especially noticeable. Gamers may also value fast response and high refresh rates, depending on the exact model. OLED can be less suitable than the brightest Mini-LED sets in very bright rooms, and prolonged static imagery presents a burn-in risk. Consider a discounted S-series set if picture priorities justify its price, not simply because it has a large markdown.

Neo QLED and Mini-LED for brightness
Neo QLED sets use Mini-LED backlighting and can suit bright rooms, sports, and buyers seeking a large screen without paying OLED pricing. Their blacks can show blooming around bright objects, and performance varies by model and local-dimming implementation. “Neo QLED” names a product family; it is not a guarantee that two models perform alike. TechRadar characterized the QN90F as bright and sports-friendly and the QN80H as a more affordable option with 144Hz support; treat those as secondary descriptions and verify the exact model’s specifications and independent testing before buying.
The Frame for a design-first room
The Frame is aimed at buyers who want the television to blend into a room and display art when not in use. Its design features may be worth paying for, but picture quality at a given price may not match Samsung’s strongest OLED or Neo QLED alternatives. Decide whether the art-display use and eligible bezel offer are worth the difference to you.

Buy now when the specific deal is hard to replace
- The exact model and size meet your needs and have a well-supported low price.
- You are considering an older model with shrinking inventory and can confirm the desired unit is available.
- You need delivery before Labor Day or another fixed date.
- The retailer’s price-adjustment or price-match rules offer protection you understand and can use.
Wait when flexibility is more valuable than certainty
- The current cut is modest, especially for a newer 2026 set with limited price history.
- Your preferred size remains widely available and you can wait to compare offers.
- A retailer has announced a Labor Day event but has not yet published the relevant model and size.
- You want to compare the Samsung’s full price against similarly priced LG, Sony, TCL, Hisense, or Panasonic models before choosing.
Waiting may produce a better price, the same price, a different model mix, or a stockout. No future Labor Day discount is guaranteed. A Samsung sale is not automatically the best television deal: compare competing sets at the same size and total cost, including delivery and return terms.

Check these details before paying
- Match the exact model: Confirm the full model code, screen size, and U.S. version. Similar names can refer to different model years or retailer-specific variants.
- Confirm condition and seller: Make sure the listing says new if that is what you intend to buy, and identify the retailer of record, warranty issuer, and included remote, stand, and accessories.
- Verify fulfillment: Check the estimated delivery date or local pickup status, who ships the TV, and whether installation or haul-away is included.
- Read return and damage terms: Check return shipping or restocking fees and the window for reporting panel or delivery damage. Large-screen availability on a product page does not guarantee a convenient delivery date.
- Recalculate the total: Add tax, delivery, installation, accessories, and warranty costs. Treat trade-in credits, promotional gifts, and financing as conditional benefits, not automatic reductions to the cash price.
- Read offer rules: Check whether discounts stack, whether registration or a redemption code is required, and whether a promotional gift must be returned if you return the TV.
Samsung direct and retailers can differ in offers, delivery, return logistics, pickup, installation, and price policies. Neither channel is always cheaper; compare the actual terms for your location.
