Anker 10-in-1 USB-C Dock Deal: Is It Really 50% Off in 2026?

The old 50%-off headline is not a current verified offer. Here’s how the A8395 docking station differs from the A83C2 hub and what their observed prices and compatibility limits mean for buyers.

The “up to 50% off” Anker 10-in-1 docking-station headline refers to a promotion published on March 29, 2024, not a verified current discount. As of August 18, 2026, Anker’s US product page lists the Anker 563 docking station (A8395) at $199.99; a separate Anker-branded storefront lists it for $80, but its seller, warranty, and checkout terms need verification. Best Buy lists a different 10-in-1 Anker hub (A83C2) for $31.99. These are different products, so check the model number and final checkout price before buying.

Which Anker 10-in-1 product is on sale?

The headline is ambiguous: it could describe the powered Anker 563 USB-C Docking Station (A8395) or the smaller Anker USB-C Hub 10-in-1 Dual Display (A83C2). Their port layouts, display limits, power arrangements, and prices differ.

Model Product type Display connections Other notable features Power Best fit
A8395 / Anker 563 Powered desktop docking station HDMI, HDMI, and DisplayPort; up to three displays, subject to host and software limits Gigabit Ethernet, combo audio, USB-A, and USB-C Up to 100W dynamic input for the host; listing specifies a 180W adapter A desk setup needing wired networking and several display outputs
A83C2 Portable USB-C hub HDMI and VGA; dual-display output is limited to 1080p at 60Hz in Anker’s guide SD and microSD slots, Gigabit Ethernet, USB-A and USB-C data ports Up to 100W PD input, with up to 85W passed to the laptop Travel, card reading, or connecting to an older VGA display

For current A8395 specifications, see Anker’s product page. The A83C2’s specifications and guidance are in Anker’s product information and user guide.

What are the current prices, and is 50% off verified?

The original headline appeared in a Phandroid article published March 29, 2024. That historical promotion does not establish today’s price or discount.

Listing Observed price and seller What the listing establishes
Anker US A8395 page $199.99 on August 18, 2026 The page showed the product in stock with estimated delivery of three to seven business days; it did not establish a current 50% discount.
Anker-branded storefront A8395 page $80, reduced from $199.99 on August 18, 2026 The displayed reduction is about 60%, but seller identity, warranty coverage, shipping, and checkout validity should be confirmed before treating it as an equivalent offer.
Best Buy A83C2 listing $31.99, compared with a stated $35.99 value on August 18, 2026; sold and shipped by AnkerDirect This is the A83C2 hub, not the A8395 dock. The stated comparison is not a 50% reduction.

Prices and stock can change; the figures above are US listing observations dated August 18, 2026, not guaranteed checkout totals. The product pages do not establish a current coupon, membership requirement, expiration date, quantity limit, or regional restriction. Confirm the terms shown for your location and variant.

  • Match the model number on the product page to the product you want: A8395 or A83C2.
  • Check the seller, item condition, shipping, return policy, and warranty rather than relying on an Anker-branded storefront name alone.
  • Put the exact variant in your cart and confirm the discount and total before tax. If the price changes at checkout, the advertised reduction is not your confirmed price.

Official Anker US lists the A8395 at $199.99; the separate Anker-branded storefront listing shows $80. Best Buy’s A83C2 listing shows $31.99.

Anker USB-C Hub, 10-in-1 USB Hub, Dual Display with Dual 4K HDMI Ports
  • 10-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with two 4K HDMI ports, a 5 Gbps USB-C port, a 5 Gbps USB-A port, two 480 Mbps USB-A ports, a USB-C PD-IN port, an Ethernet port, an SD card slot, and a USB-C upstream port.
  • Dual Display: Stream or mirror content to a single device in 4K@60Hz, or hook up two displays to both HDMI ports in 4K@30Hz. (Note: For macOS, the display on both external monitors will be identical. )
  • Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. You can also use the SD card slot to transfer all of your latest photos.
  • Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: Only the PD-IN port supports charging, the 5Gbps USB C port does not support charging, only data transmission function.
  • Compatibility: Supports USB-C, USB4, and Thunderbolt connections. Compatible with MacBook (macOS 12 and newer), Windows 10 and 11, ChromeOS, and laptops equipped with DP Alt Mode and Power Delivery. Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.

What does the A8395 dock actually provide?

The A8395 is the full-size option for a permanent desk setup. Its outputs are not interchangeable in capability: the primary HDMI port supports up to 4K at 30Hz, the second HDMI supports up to 2K at 50Hz, and DisplayPort supports up to 2K at 60Hz. Anker lists these multi-display combinations:

  • One display: up to 4K at 30Hz on the primary HDMI, 2K at 50Hz on the second HDMI, or 2K at 60Hz on DisplayPort.
  • Two displays: up to 4K at 30Hz plus 2K at 50Hz, or 4K at 30Hz plus 2K at 60Hz.
  • Three displays: one at 4K at 30Hz and two at 2048×1152 at 60Hz.

Some 2K monitors may instead operate at 1920×1080. The second HDMI and DisplayPort outputs do not support HDCP content, which can prevent some protected streaming video from playing correctly or limit its resolution. Anker lists one USB-A port at 5Gbps, two USB-A 2.0 ports at 480Mbps, and one USB-C data/output port at 5Gbps with up to 30W output. It also has Gigabit Ethernet and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. The dock accepts up to 100W dynamic power for the host, but that is not a promise that every laptop receives 100W in every setup. The product listing specifies a 180W power adapter and USB-C cable. See the A8395 listing for the published specifications.

Anker USB-C Hub, 11-in-1 Docking Station Dual Monitor with 4K HDMI and DP
  • Massive Expansion: Turn one of your laptop’s USB-C ports into 11 with a 10 Gbps USB-C data port, a 10 Gbps USB-A data port, a 4K HDMI port, a 4K DisplayPort, a 100W USB-C Power Delivery input port, two 480 Mbps USB-A data ports, an Ethernet port, an AUX port, and microSD / SD card slots.
  • Move Files Faster: With a 10 Gbps USB-C port, a 10 Gbps USB-A port, dual 480 Mbps USB-A ports, and 104 MB/s microSD / SD card slots, you have a huge number of ports to transfer files at high speed.
  • Multi-Monitor Display: Connect to the DisplayPort and HDMI port to enjoy crystal-clear streaming or mirroring across 2 displays at up to 2K@60Hz with a DP 1.4 laptop or 1080p@60Hz with a DP 1.2 laptop. Note: For macOS, the display on both external monitors will be identical.
  • Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while accessing the hub’s other functions. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included).
  • Note: The hub supports display outputs only through HDMI and DP ports; it does not support display outputs through USB-C ports.

What does the A83C2 hub provide?

The A83C2 is a more portable, lower-cost hub with one HDMI output (up to 4K at 30Hz) and one VGA output (up to 1080p at 60Hz). Anker’s guide limits dual-display output to 1080p at 60Hz; actual performance also depends on the laptop. It includes three USB-A 5Gbps ports, one USB-C 5Gbps data port, SD and microSD/TF card slots, and Gigabit Ethernet. Its USB-C PD input is rated up to 100W, with up to 85W passed through to the laptop. The guide does not establish a comparable desktop power brick as an included accessory. Consult the A83C2 user guide and Best Buy listing for product details.

Will either model work with your laptop and monitors?

A USB-C connector alone does not guarantee video or charging support. Before buying, check the laptop maker’s specifications for the exact USB-C port and your intended display setup.

Anker USB-C Hub, 8-in-1 Multiport Ethernet Adapter with 4K@60Hz HDMI Port
  • Flawless 4K Video via HDMI: Enjoy crystal-clear visuals with 4K@60Hz output when using a DP 1.4 laptop, or 4K@30Hz with a DP 1.2 laptop—perfect for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video output. The USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
  • Massive Expansion: Equipped with a USB-C Power Delivery input port, a built-in 7.48″ USB-C cable, a USB-C data port, 2 USB-A data ports, 1 HDMI port, an Ethernet port, and a microSD/SD card reader, giving you an incredible range of functions—all from a single USB-C port.
  • High-Speed, High-Def: USB-C and USB-A data ports provide file transfer at speeds up to 10 Gbps, while an HDMI port supports media display at resolutions up to 4K@60Hz for DP 1.4 laptops, or 4K@30Hz for DP 1.2 laptops.
  • Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Compatible with USB-C Power Delivery to provide high-speed pass-through charging up to 85W.
  • Note: The hub requires 15W for operation. Please use a 100W Power Delivery charger and cable to ensure adequate power.
  • Video over USB-C: The A8395 requires DisplayPort Alt Mode on the host USB-C port. Verify the laptop’s supported external-display count and resolutions as well; the dock cannot exceed the host’s capabilities.
  • Charging through the dock: If you want the dock to charge the laptop, confirm the port supports USB Power Delivery and that its power needs fit the dock’s limits. The A83C2 passes through up to 85W; the A8395’s stated 100W is a maximum dynamic input figure.
  • Operating system: Anker lists macOS 10.14 or later and Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11 for the A8395. The A83C2 guide lists macOS 12 or later and Windows 10 or later. For an older dock, verify current driver and software support for your system before purchase.
  • Mac multi-monitor use: Do not assume every MacBook can run multiple independent external screens through a hub. The A8395 uses DisplayLink for up to three monitors; Anker directs users to DisplayLink Manager for certain macOS display issues.
  • Monitor and content requirements: Neither model is a good choice if you require 4K at 60Hz. For the A8395, account for the HDCP restriction on its second HDMI and DisplayPort outputs if you watch protected streaming content.

Which one makes sense for your setup?

Choose the A8395 for a desk dock

Consider the A8395 if you need a powered workstation with Ethernet, audio, HDMI and DisplayPort connections, and the possibility of up to three displays within its published resolution limits. It is a poor match for high-refresh 4K, USB4 or Thunderbolt bandwidth, 8K output, or unrestricted HDCP across every display output.

Choose the A83C2 for portability and legacy connections

The A83C2 is a better fit when SD or microSD access, VGA, a compact hub, and a lower observed purchase price matter more than a desktop power brick or higher-end display capability. Skip it if you need three monitors, 4K at 60Hz, or a powered desktop dock.

Consider another category if these limits matter

A newer USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 dock may suit high-bandwidth storage and demanding multi-monitor work better, though it may cost more. A simpler USB-C hub can be cheaper and lighter, but may omit a power adapter, Ethernet, card readers, or multiple display outputs. Compare the exact display modes, USB speeds, charging, included accessories, warranty, and seller terms—not just the port count.

What to try if the dock does not work as expected

  1. Confirm the model number on the product page or packaging: A8395 and A83C2 have different capabilities.
  2. Connect the dock directly to the laptop, not through a second hub, and use the supplied or a video-capable USB-C cable.
  3. Verify that the laptop port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode for video and Power Delivery if you expect charging.
  4. Start with one monitor at a supported output, then add displays one at a time; check the laptop’s display limits if only one works.
  5. For the A8395 on macOS, install or update DisplayLink Manager where required. If display problems began after an OS update, check the software version and settings.
  6. If a protected streaming service shows a black screen or reduced resolution, test the primary HDMI output or connect the monitor directly to the laptop.
  7. If charging is slow, check the charger and dock power arrangement and account for the dock’s stated limits and connected accessories.
