What’s actually slowing this PC down?

The best crypto portfolio tracker depends on what you need to monitor. A manual ledger can work for a few buy-and-hold positions, while frequent traders may need exchange synchronization. DeFi users need wallet and protocol coverage, and anyone preparing a tax return needs complete transaction history and cost-basis tools—not just a balance chart.
For broad crypto coverage, consider CoinStats; for crypto alongside traditional investments, Delta by eToro; and for tax-aware tracking, CoinTracker. CoinGecko Portfolio and CoinMarketCap Portfolio offer free manual tracking, while Zerion and DeBank focus on on-chain activity. Verify support for your specific accounts and assets before relying on any tracker.

1. CoinStats: best overall crypto portfolio tracker
CoinStats is a broadly useful choice if your assets are spread across exchanges, wallets and DeFi applications. It supports connected accounts, CSV imports and manual entries, and its feature documentation includes staking, yield farming, liquidity pools and NFTs.
CoinStats’ May 2026 help page says it covers more than 300 wallets and exchanges, over 1,000 DeFi protocols and more than 10 chains. An older help page gives different coverage figures—over 1,000 exchanges and 70+ wallets. These counts are not directly comparable, so check for your exact exchange, blockchain and asset before subscribing.

Best for: investors who want one dashboard for exchange balances, wallets and more complicated crypto positions.
Watch out for: use a dedicated read-only exchange API key. Disable trading, transfer and withdrawal permissions wherever the exchange offers those controls.
2. Delta by eToro: best for crypto plus stocks
Delta is a better fit when crypto is only one part of your investment picture. It supports crypto, NFTs, stocks, funds, forex and indices, with portfolio history, cost basis, unrealized gains, allocation and risk metrics.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Delta’s displayed plans are Basic, free with tracking limited to 10 investments; PRO, $6.99 per month or $53.88 per year; PRO+, $107.88 per year; and Lifetime PRO+, $299. Prices may vary by location. Paid plans add features such as advanced analytics, live price refreshing, unlimited connections and crypto signals.
Delta is an investment tracker, not a brokerage or exchange: it does not take custody of your assets or execute trades through the portfolio screen.
Best for: someone who wants to see Bitcoin, an index fund and individual stocks in the same allocation view.
Watch out for: Delta is not a replacement for a crypto tax service or universal DeFi transaction classification.

3. CoinTracker: best for tax-aware tracking
CoinTracker is useful when the main task is reconciling transactions and cost basis rather than checking today’s account value. It supports automatic exchange synchronization, public wallet addresses, direct CSV imports and its own CSV template. It also provides transaction review, portfolio performance and tax reporting.
- To connect an account, open Wallets > Add wallet, search for the integration and follow its instructions. Depending on the provider, you may sign in, enter a read-only API key, paste a public address or xPub key, or upload a CSV.
- To add a manual transaction, open Transactions > Add new. Enter the date and time in UTC, outgoing asset, incoming asset and fee, then click Save transaction.
- To review possible problems, use Transactions > Status > Review suggested. For a send classification, use Category > Send.
CoinTracker’s personal plans are annual subscriptions: one free plan and six paid plans, with pricing based partly on crypto transactions completed in the previous calendar year. Portfolio tracking is included across plans. Prime and Ultra include advanced portfolio and tax features, including tax-loss harvesting. The Base plan excludes staking transactions up to $25, while Prime and Ultra include unlimited staking. Subscriptions auto-renew annually; its 30-day money-back guarantee is subject to the condition that tax forms have not been downloaded.
Best for: people who trade across multiple platforms, use DeFi or need a more complete transaction record for tax reporting.
Watch out for: a tax report is only as complete as the wallets, exchanges, transfers and transaction types you provide.
4. CoinGecko Portfolio: best free option for manual tracking
CoinGecko Portfolio is a practical free choice if you are willing to enter transactions yourself. It supports multiple portfolios and lets you record buys, sells and holdings without granting an app access to an exchange account.
Its Wallet Tracking feature adds read-only monitoring. In the app, use Portfolio > Create New Portfolio > Track Wallet Address. On the website, use Portfolio > + New Portfolio > Track Wallet Address, then paste the public address. CoinGecko says this does not request wallet permissions, approvals or signatures.
Free users can track up to two wallets through Wallet Tracking; Premium users can track up to 100. The ordinary portfolio feature is free. CoinGecko says portfolio transactions created on its website or mobile app cannot be downloaded or exported. You can make a portfolio public for sharing, but holdings and P&L are hidden by default.
Best for: buy-and-hold investors who want a free tracker or people who need to watch a public wallet without connecting it.

Watch out for: public-address tracking can miss or misidentify spam tokens, bridges, staking positions, NFTs or DeFi activity. Read-only does not mean complete.
5. CoinMarketCap Portfolio: best simple free ledger
CoinMarketCap’s Portfolio Tracker is a manual ledger. It supports more than 10,000 cryptocurrencies and lets you create multiple portfolios, record buys, sells, transfers in, transfers out, fees and notes. Historical allocation and profit-and-loss charts recalculate after transactions are added or edited, although the update may not be immediate.
- Open the Portfolio page and click + Add New, or click the + icon beside an asset.
- Enter the transaction type, quantity, price, date and time, fee and any note.
- For an existing asset, use the … menu to inspect transaction details or remove the asset. To create another portfolio, open the Portfolio page and select create portfolio.
Best for: someone who wants a free, uncomplicated record of holdings and trades.
Watch out for: CoinMarketCap’s portfolio does not connect to wallets or take custody of funds. You must maintain the transaction record yourself.
6. Zerion: best for EVM-heavy DeFi portfolios
Zerion is built around on-chain wallets and DeFi rather than exchange-account aggregation. It tracks tokens, NFTs, DeFi positions, transaction history and portfolio performance across 40+ blockchains, including Ethereum, Base and Polygon.
That makes it useful for seeing liquidity-pool positions and other wallet activity that a basic exchange tracker may not understand. Its coverage is centered on EVM and related chains, so it is not a universal tracker for every blockchain or exchange.
Best for: users whose assets live mainly in EVM wallets and DeFi protocols.
Watch out for: use a separate tax-focused application if you need cost-basis reconciliation, taxable-event classifications or tax forms.

7. DeBank: best for researching EVM wallets
DeBank is useful when the question is “What does this wallet do?” rather than “What is my complete tax position?” You can search wallet addresses, inspect portfolio views, analyze transaction history, follow addresses and compare activity across dates.
It is a research and monitoring tool for Ethereum and other EVM ecosystems, including following whale wallets or examining a complicated address. It is not primarily an exchange aggregator, personal accounting ledger or tax-reporting service.
Best for: experienced DeFi users, researchers and investors monitoring multiple on-chain addresses.
Watch out for: address analysis does not automatically establish ownership, cost basis or the tax meaning of every transaction.

How to choose a crypto portfolio tracker
- List where your assets are held. Include exchanges, hardware wallets, browser wallets, staking providers, NFT marketplaces and DeFi protocols. Verify that the app supports each specific source.
- Decide whether manual entry is acceptable. It can work for occasional purchases but becomes error-prone when you trade frequently or move assets between wallets.
- Separate visibility from accounting. A dashboard can show an estimated balance without producing reliable cost basis or taxable gains.
- Check export options before entering data. CoinGecko portfolio transactions cannot be exported. CoinTracker says CSVs cannot currently be downloaded from its mobile app.
- Review security permissions. Public wallet tracking should require only a public address. Exchange synchronization should use read-only API access with trading and withdrawals disabled.
- Compare the paid plan with your transaction volume. Check that the plan supports your number of transactions and the tax features you need.
Why tracker balances and tax results can be wrong
Crypto trackers are not automatically authoritative records. A missing wallet, incomplete exchange CSV or unsupported DeFi transaction can alter both the displayed balance and cost basis. Common causes of “insufficient quantity” errors include missing accounts or history, omitted or altered CSV rows, incorrectly categorized DeFi, NFT or staking activity, unsupported token standards, rounding discrepancies and transfers present on only one side. CoinTracker may assume a zero cost basis for the missing amount or, in some cases, the entire disposal amount.
Transfers between your own wallets are a common source of errors. If the receiving wallet is not connected, CoinTracker may label the outgoing transaction as Send rather than a self-transfer. That can make it appear taxable and distort cost basis. Connect both sides and ensure the amounts and timestamps are close enough for the software to match them.
CoinTracker distinguishes reported value—the balance returned by the provider at its last sync—from calculated value—the result of imported and manually entered history. Manual edits, ignored transactions, missing records, provider limitations and delayed synchronization can make these values differ.
A new wallet or exchange sync may take up to 30 minutes, and in rare cases up to one hour, depending on transaction volume and integration capacity. Sync all pulls new transactions but does not repair previously failed syncs or update old history.

Missing historical prices can also cause problems. For some DeFi or NFT assets, CoinTracker may be unable to determine proceeds and temporarily use $0 until you confirm or edit the value.
- Re-import the wallet.
- If needed, open the transaction’s … menu and choose Edit cost basis or Edit proceeds.
- Enter the historical token price.
For US cost-basis settings, CoinTracker lets users choose between Universal and Per-wallet tracking under Settings > Tax > Cost basis tracking. Do not change this setting casually if prior tax filings used Universal tracking.
Our verdict
Choose CoinStats for broad general-purpose crypto tracking, provided it supports your exact accounts. Choose Delta if you want crypto and traditional investments together. Choose CoinTracker when tax records and cost basis are the priority.
For free manual tracking, CoinGecko Portfolio is useful when read-only wallet monitoring matters; CoinMarketCap Portfolio is a simple transaction ledger. DeFi investors may add Zerion or DeBank when ordinary portfolio apps do not adequately describe on-chain positions.

What is the best crypto portfolio tracker in 2026?
CoinStats is a broad option for many crypto investors because it combines exchange and wallet connections with CSV imports, manual entries, DeFi positions, staking and NFTs. Verify support for your exact accounts before relying on it.
What is the best free crypto portfolio tracker?
CoinGecko Portfolio and CoinMarketCap Portfolio are both free options. CoinGecko also supports read-only public wallet tracking, while CoinMarketCap focuses on manually entered buys, sells, transfers, fees and notes.
Which crypto tracker is best for taxes?
CoinTracker is the most tax-focused option in this shortlist. It supports exchange and wallet imports, transaction review, cost-basis tracking and tax reporting, but still requires complete and correctly classified transaction history.
Is it safe to connect a crypto wallet to a portfolio tracker?
A public-address connection can be read-only and does not give the tracker permission to move funds. Exchange connections are different: use a dedicated API key with read-only access and disable trading, transfers and withdrawals.
Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallCrashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteCan a crypto tracker guarantee accurate tax results?
No. Missing wallets, unmatched transfers, unsupported transaction types and unavailable historical prices can materially change cost basis and taxable gains. Review imported history and classifications before relying on a report.
Why do my tracker balance and exchange balance differ?
A provider’s reported balance and a tracker’s calculated value can differ because of missing records, ignored transactions, manual edits, delayed synchronization or provider limitations. Check the connected accounts and transaction history.
Bottom line: CoinStats is a broad crypto tracker, CoinTracker is tax-oriented, and Delta suits a mixed crypto-and-stock portfolio. CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap cover basic free tracking, while Zerion and DeBank are better suited to EVM and DeFi activity. Verify every wallet and exchange, protect API credentials with read-only permissions, and treat a tax report as a draft to review—not an automatic guarantee.
