When is Cyber Week 2026?
Adobe defines Cyber Week as the five-day period from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday. In 2026, that means November 26–30. Adobe’s September 28, 2026 forecast projects $47.5 billion in U.S. online sales during the period, up 7.4% from the previous year. The projection is not a report of completed sales; actual results may differ. Adobe’s 2026 holiday forecast draws on more than one trillion visits to U.S. retail sites, 100 million SKUs, and 18 product categories.

What should you buy on Black Friday versus Cyber Monday?
Adobe’s forecast points to different likely discount peaks by category. Use it to time your comparison shopping, not as a promise that every product will be cheaper on the predicted day.

How to tell whether a Cyber Week deal is actually cheaper
A discount label alone does not establish that you are getting a good price. Compare the specific product and seller, then calculate what you will actually pay and check the terms that matter if the item does not work out.
- Set a budget and a short list. The FTC’s consumer advice is direct: “Make a list and a budget.” Decide what you need and the maximum you will pay before browsing.
- Check the exact product and seller. Compare model numbers and specifications, read reviews, and consult trusted sources about the product, seller, and warranty. A similar-looking item may not have the same features or support.
- Compare total cost. Check the price at more than one store and include shipping and other charges. A lower advertised price can cost more after delivery fees.
- Read the return and warranty terms. Check whether the item can be returned, any deadlines or costs, and what warranty applies. Save the order number, return or refund terms, and shipping costs.
- Protect your information. Shop on secure sites and be wary of offers that pressure you to provide financial information. Keep transaction records in case you need to follow up.
These are the FTC’s recommendations in its holiday shopping tips. The guidance dates to 2019, but the budgeting, comparison, recordkeeping, and privacy checks remain practical for evaluating online purchases.

Neither identifies a specific product that will be discounted, verifies a retailer’s live price or stock, or guarantees that waiting until a certain day will save you money. Treat a deal as worthwhile only after comparing the exact item’s total cost and terms with alternatives you would genuinely consider.
