The Nectar example is a useful budgeting warning: a product can be labeled a “Black Friday deal” even when the price is not exclusive to Black Friday. A safer way to evaluate a Black Friday price
- Set a total budget first. Include sales tax, shipping, installation, accessories, subscriptions, and financing costs.
