The application window for DSSSB Advertisement 03/2024 is closed. The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board invited online applications for 567 tentative Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) vacancies, Post Code 812/24, from 8 February to 8 March 2024. This page explains the original notice; it does not establish the effect of later amendments or the current status of the recruitment.

What was the DSSSB MTS 2024 recruitment?

DSSSB Advertisement 03/2024 covered Multi Tasking Staff posts across departments and bodies under the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The notice listed 567 tentative vacancies in total. The advertised number was based on vacancy information supplied by the departments and bodies, and should not be read as the number still available after subsequent changes.

The official advertisement and its department-wise vacancy and eligibility details are available on the DSSSB website. The number and distribution of vacancies may differ by department and category, so candidates should consult the notice rather than rely on the headline total alone.

What were the application dates?

Online applications were accepted from 8 February 2024 through 8 March 2024, with the closing time set at 11:59 p.m. The application window has ended; the original notice cannot be used to apply now.

DSSSB’s notice index also lists a partial modification dated 29 September 2025 and a corrigendum dated 30 September 2025 for this recruitment. Their specific effect and the latest status of Post Code 812/24 should be confirmed from those notices and any later official recruitment updates before relying on the original advertisement.

Who was eligible for the MTS posts?

Eligibility was department-specific; the advertised qualifications and age limits were not identical across all MTS vacancies. The notice’s Women and Child Development entry required matriculation or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university, specified no experience requirement, and set an age band of 18–27 years. The MTS entry for DSSSB itself listed an age band of 18–25 years.

The Women and Child Development entry also listed Pay Level 1, with a pay scale of Rs. 18,000–56,900. Age relaxations and other department-specific conditions are governed by the detailed advertisement. Applicants should use the relevant department row and category rules in the notice rather than assume that one qualification, age band or pay detail applies to every vacancy.

What was the DSSSB MTS exam pattern?

The advertisement prescribed a one-tier general examination (Tier-I) lasting two hours. It comprised 200 multiple-choice questions for 200 marks, divided equally across five areas:

Total 200 200

The notice states: “Negative Marking will be applicable and deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each wrong Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) answer.” It also allows a skill or endurance test where required by the nature of the job.

What was the application fee?

DSSSB’s FAQ states a fee of Rs. 100 for an online application per post-code examination. It lists women, SC, ST, PwBD, sports-person and ex-servicemen candidates as exempt, subject to the stated qualification for ex-servicemen who have already obtained qualifying civil employment after using reservation benefits. These are general FAQ details; for any future recruitment, check the fee rules in that advertisement and current DSSSB guidance.
