What were the dates and vacancies?
DSSSB’s Advertisement No. 10/2024 set the application period from 16 January 2025 at 12 noon through 14 February 2025 at 11:59 p.m. The official notice is the controlling source for these dates. A contemporaneous Indian Express report gave a conflicting final date; candidates should not rely on that secondary date in place of the official notice.

DSSSB described the figures as tentative, based on requisitions and inputs from the relevant departments and bodies; they should not be read as guaranteed or immutable. Who was eligible to apply?
Eligibility depends on the specific subject and post code in Advertisement No. 10/2024. The notice generally calls for a relevant master’s degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade, together with a B.Ed. or one of the specified integrated teacher-education qualifications. The fact that applications closed does not establish that every post-code process is complete. DSSSB’s results index is the official place to check current result and recruitment notices, but the index alone does not resolve the final stage for every post code under Advertisement No. 10/2024.
