What the October 2024 roundup reported
Tech Times published the roundup on October 14, 2024. It reported that FTX was expected to return about $12.6 billion to creditors over time, with an initial distribution expected as early as that December. It also said Arkham was preparing to launch crypto derivatives the following month and described CornBattles as a Telegram-based game with token rewards. FTX: what later distribution guidance says
FTX Support’s “Distributions Dashboard FAQs,” updated September 13, 2026, identifies July 31, 2026 as the distribution date addressed in its guidance. This later process information is more useful to claim holders than the 2024 forecast, but it does not establish that the earlier $12.6 billion estimate was ultimately paid in full. Who may qualify
FTX says distributions are for holders of Allowed Claims who satisfy the plan requirements and complete the required pre-distribution steps. A claim that remains disputed is not the same as an Allowed Claim. The FAQ says claims may remain disputed because review is unresolved, jurisdiction eligibility is at issue, or prior proceedings need reconciliation.

Required steps and the six-month condition
The FAQ identifies completed tax documentation, selection of and successful onboarding with a distribution service provider, and passing sanctions screening as requirements. It says a holder who does not onboard with a provider within six months of the July 31, 2026 distribution date may forfeit rights to distributions. Check the official FAQ for current instructions and your account for claim-specific status; these general details do not determine an individual’s legal, tax, or eligibility position.
Why Step 9 may be unavailable
FTX’s FAQ says some holders cannot access Step 9, the Distribution Dashboard, because their claim was traded or because they elected into the Bahamas process. If the step is missing, use the FAQ and account-specific portal instructions rather than assuming the claim is ineligible or trying to infer its status from the dashboard alone.

Arkham: derivatives data is not a derivatives exchange
The 2024 article said Arkham planned to launch crypto derivatives the following month. The official materials cited here do not independently establish whether that specific trading product launched, its present status, or any related jurisdictional permissions. Arkham’s current documentation does establish an analytics offering: its Insights feed combines on-chain intelligence with exchange, macroeconomic, sentiment, and news context, including derivatives measures such as open interest and funding rates. Analytics about derivatives markets should not be confused with a venue for placing derivatives trades.
Arkham describes Insights as “an AI-powered terminal that surfaces and analyzes key market events in real time.” That is the company’s product description, not independent evidence of accuracy or performance. Its Arkham Insights documentation explains the product, while its announcements index provides a dated record of company updates. The 2024 roundup also reported that Arkham was moving to Punta Cana; the cited official product materials do not verify that claim.

CornBattles: what is established about the game
Tech Times described CornBattles as a web3 game on Telegram mixing tactical play, auto-battler mechanics, comedy, and collectible cards. It reported that rewards could translate into TON, that the game had three million users, and that NFT hero cards were under discussion. Those details belong to the 2024 article’s account: the official Corn Battles Telegram channel establishes the game’s identity and links to its play destination, but the channel material cited here does not confirm the three-million-user figure, current reward-conversion terms, present availability, or NFT plans. Treat those as historical claims, not current verified game mechanics.
