The displayed four-line price is $105 per month with AutoPay, before taxes and fees. We could not verify a comparable current official offer for a free iPhone 14 Pro. “Free” means the device cost is offset over time; it does not mean free wireless service or an unconditional phone.
Which iPhone 14 deals are currently confirmed?
The clearest current iPhone 14 promotion located is on T-Mobile’s Apple deals page: four iPhone 14 phones are advertised “ON US” when customers activate four new lines, use a qualifying plan, and trade in four eligible devices. Credits are spread over 24 months. The displayed AutoPay price is $26.25 per line, or $105 per month for four lines before taxes and fees.
This is a household offer, not a confirmed one-phone giveaway. The page reviewed does not establish that the same offer applies to a single line or to existing customers upgrading. Eligibility and inventory can vary by account, plan, trade-in and sales channel, so confirm the model and full terms in checkout before ordering.

Older headlines may describe promotions that have expired. T-Mobile’s promotion terms and AT&T’s current offer page surface newer iPhone promotions; check the live offer rather than relying on an undated article. Apple also has a carrier-offers page for AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile.

What “free” means with carrier bill credits
In a typical carrier promotion, you finance the phone and receive a monthly account credit that offsets some or all of the installment. You still pay for service, and the credits are conditional on meeting the promotion’s requirements for its full term. If eligibility ends, remaining credits may stop while an unpaid phone balance remains.
T-Mobile says credits can stop if service is canceled before all credits are received, and the remaining device-finance balance may become due. Some offers also end credits if the phone is paid off early. Changing to a plan that is not eligible can put the promotion at risk. Read the terms for the specific offer before financing, paying off a device or changing plans.
Credits may not appear on the first bill. Verizon says they can take one or two billing cycles to show; T-Mobile’s terms also advise allowing up to two billing cycles. Compare the installment and expected credit on the bill, and contact the carrier if the expected credit does not appear after the stated window.

What the T-Mobile four-phone offer costs over two years

- $105 × 24 months = $2,520 for four lines over the 24-month credit period, before taxes and fees.
That $2,520 is the advertised service cost for four lines, not the total cost of four phones and not the incremental cost of accepting the deal. It excludes taxes and fees, any applicable activation or device-connection charges, the value of the four phones surrendered, accessories and optional services. The exact device-credit amounts and checkout charges should be verified in the order summary.
For a fair comparison, calculate the difference between the qualifying plan and the plan you would otherwise buy, then account for trade-in value and fees. A useful framework is: promotion cost = extra service cost + taxes and fees + activation charges + trade-in opportunity cost − device credits. If you already need four lines and the qualifying plan is competitive, the offer may make sense. Adding lines solely to obtain phones can cost more than buying phones separately.

Is an iPhone 14 Pro free?
We could not verify a currently available, broadly applicable official carrier offer that gives away the iPhone 14 Pro. The confirmed T-Mobile promotion is for the iPhone 14 and does not establish that the Pro model qualifies. AT&T’s listing of the iPhone 14 Pro as a trade-in device for a newer-phone promotion is not an offer to provide a free iPhone 14 Pro.
Because the iPhone 14 Pro is an older model, stock and promotion eligibility may be limited. Treat a deal page as unconfirmed unless the carrier’s current checkout shows the exact iPhone 14 Pro model, required plan, trade-in rules, credit term and remaining balance. Historical promotions from 2022–2024 do not establish current availability.

- Open T-Mobile’s Apple deals page and confirm it still displays the four-iPhone-14 promotion.
- Select the qualifying plan and check that the order requires four new lines—not merely four devices or upgrades.
- Enter each trade-in model and condition. Confirm that all four devices qualify and note any separate balance owed on them.
- Review the checkout summary for four iPhone 14 installment amounts, the monthly promotional credits, the 24-month term, taxes and any connection or activation charges.
- Check the AutoPay requirement and the price after any conditional discount. Save the offer terms and order summary.
- Before shipping trade-ins, photograph each device from all sides and while powered on; record its IMEI or serial number and keep shipping receipts and tracking details. Disable Find My iPhone and Activation Lock and remove the SIM.
- Review the first two bills for the expected credits. Keep eligible service active for the full credit term, and get written confirmation before changing plans or paying off a financed phone.
Trade-in requirements differ by carrier and offer. Verizon’s general guidance says a trade-in must power on, have an uncracked functioning screen, have no battery damage and have Activation Lock disabled. Do not assume another carrier applies identical tests; follow the specific offer’s terms.

When another option may cost less
Buy a newer iPhone with a current promotion
Carriers are currently emphasizing newer iPhone generations. AT&T’s surfaced offer advertises up to $830 off eligible iPhones and up to $1,000 off iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max with qualifying trade-ins. Those are maximum discounts, not guaranteed values for every customer or device. Compare the required plan and credit term with what you would pay to keep your current service.
Buy a refurbished iPhone 14 or 14 Pro outright
An outright purchase avoids a multi-year service-credit commitment and may suit someone who needs one phone or wants to keep a lower-cost plan. Compare the seller’s condition grade, battery information, return policy, warranty and carrier compatibility, and include the trade-in value you would otherwise give up.
Buy unlocked or keep your current carrier
An unlocked purchase can preserve flexibility for switching carriers or using a different SIM, but verify the phone’s compatibility and the seller’s unlocking status. Do not assume a carrier-financed phone is unlocked immediately; check that carrier’s current unlocking policy before buying, especially if you travel or use multiple carriers.

For an existing customer, compare the promotion against the cost of staying put. The relevant question is not only whether the phone installment is offset, but whether the required plan, added lines and forfeited trade-in value leave you better off.
Check these terms before signing up
- Lines and customer status: Does the offer require four new lines, and does it apply to your account type?
- Plan: Which exact plan qualifies, and what happens to the credits if you change it?
- Trade-ins: Are all four models and conditions eligible? Do you still owe installments on any trade-in?
- Credit term: How many months will credits continue, and what circumstances end them?
- Upfront charges: What sales tax, activation or connection charges, and other fees apply?
- Billing and flexibility: When should credits start, what balance remains if service ends, and what is the carrier’s unlocking policy?
- Inventory: Does checkout show the exact model, storage and color you want, with a delivery or pickup option available?
AT&T’s device materials also warn that trading in a phone does not erase an existing installment obligation; check the agreement for any device you still finance. The same practical caution applies to calculating your total: a trade-in promotion is not a payoff of a separate loan unless the carrier explicitly says so.
