Samsung’s U.S. website briefly exposed launch pricing for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra ahead of their September 2024 announcement. The leak was “official” in the sense that the figures came from Samsung’s own site—not because Samsung had formally announced them yet. The leaked U.S. Wi-Fi prices were later confirmed, starting at $999.99 for the Tab S10+ and $1,199.99 for the Ultra.

What Samsung’s website revealed

In September 2024, YTECHB reportedly spotted product listings or pricing data on Samsung’s U.S. website before the tablets’ public launch. Android Headlines reported the discovery and pricing. That makes the source first-party, but the disclosure was an accidental website leak rather than a Samsung press release or formal pricing announcement. Android Headlines’ report provides the contemporary account.

Samsung subsequently confirmed the starting prices in its launch materials. The figures below are U.S. launch MSRPs for the listed Wi-Fi configurations, before sales tax. They are not a guide to current checkout prices, carrier models, international pricing, or temporary discounts and trade-in offers.

Leaked U.S. launch prices by configuration

Model RAM and internal storage U.S. launch MSRP
Galaxy Tab S10+ 12GB / 256GB $999.99
Galaxy Tab S10+ 12GB / 512GB $1,119.99
Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra 12GB / 256GB $1,199.99
Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra 12GB / 512GB $1,319.99
Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra 16GB / 1TB $1,619.99

Samsung’s September 2025 U.S. MSRP file lists these same prices and model configurations, providing a later cross-check of the launch figures. It marks the listed Tab S10+ and Ultra SKUs as end-of-life; that status does not establish whether any particular retailer still has stock. Samsung’s September 2025 MSRP file identifies the models and prices.

Which tablets were in the original flagship launch?

The September 2024 flagship launch comprised the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. Samsung did not introduce a standard, non-Plus Galaxy Tab S10 in that launch. The later Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+ are separate Fan Edition products, not additional configurations of the original flagship lineup. Samsung’s U.S. launch announcement names the Plus and Ultra models.

How the prices compared with the Tab S9 generation

The headline U.S. starting prices were unchanged: the Tab S10+ started at $999.99 and the Tab S10 Ultra at $1,199.99. That supports saying Samsung held the entry prices for the two flagship models, but it does not by itself establish that every storage configuration matched a Tab S9 counterpart price-for-price.

The Ultra’s 1TB/16GB configuration was the highest-priced option in the leak, at $1,619.99. Samsung’s business portfolio material also lists microSD expansion support of up to 1.5TB for the Plus and Ultra. A card adds expandable file storage, but it is not interchangeable with built-in storage for every app or workflow. Samsung’s Tab S10 portfolio flyer describes the configurations and expansion support.

Announcement and availability dates

Samsung announced the tablets in the United States on September 26, 2024; its global newsroom publication followed on September 27. The reported U.S. availability date was October 4, 2024. These are historical launch dates, not current availability assurances. See Samsung’s global announcement and contemporary report.

What the extra money bought

The Plus has a 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display; the Ultra has a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. Both use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ platform and support the S Pen, IP68 water and dust resistance, and Galaxy AI features. Samsung’s business portfolio lists Wi-Fi 7 for the Ultra; connectivity varies by model and market. Samsung’s global announcement describes the display and product features.

Which configuration makes sense?

Choose the Tab S10+ for a lower flagship entry price

The Plus starts $200 below the Ultra’s entry configuration and has a 12.4-inch screen. It is the more manageable choice for buyers who want a premium tablet for drawing, note-taking, media, or multitasking but do not need the Ultra’s larger display or 1TB/16GB option.

Choose the Tab S10 Ultra for the largest screen and top configuration

The Ultra’s 14.6-inch display can better suit split-screen work, drawing, DeX-style productivity, or media viewing when screen area matters more than portability. Its 1TB model pairs that storage with 16GB of RAM, but costs $1,619.99 at launch MSRP. Buyers who do not need extensive internal storage may find a lower-capacity model plus microSD more economical.

Look at a different tier if premium performance is not essential

A discounted Tab S9-series tablet may be a better fit when price matters more than the newer processor platform and Galaxy AI positioning. The FE family is another separate, lower-cost tier: Samsung’s September 2025 MSRP file lists specified U.S. Wi-Fi configurations of the Tab S10 FE from $499.99 and FE+ from $649.99. Those are MSRP-file figures, not current sale prices. The file’s listed prices and EOL status should not be read as a stock check.

How to interpret the prices when comparing offers

  • Check the market and model. The listed dollars apply to U.S. Wi-Fi configurations. Do not apply them to another country, cellular SKU, or carrier plan.
  • Separate MSRP from checkout cost. Sales tax, trade-in credits, bundles, and temporary discounts can change what a buyer pays without changing the original launch MSRP.
  • Include accessories in the budget. Keyboard covers can raise the total cost and are most useful for typing or productivity; they may not be worthwhile for a tablet bought mainly for media.
  • Compare storage by use, not just capacity. MicroSD expansion can help with files and media, but it does not make a lower-capacity tablet equivalent to a 1TB internal-storage model in every use case.
