Sometimes—but a new TikTok Ads account is not guaranteed a fixed amount of free credit. TikTok makes offers available to some qualified advertisers, and the amount, eligibility rules, qualifying spend, and deadline can vary. To see whether you qualify, sign in to TikTok Ads Manager and review the offer shown for your account before spending money on a campaign.

How do I get free TikTok ad credit?

  1. Sign in to TikTok Ads Manager. Look for the ad-credit offer or open the Promotions page.
  2. Open the offer details. Check the eligible account and advertising products, any qualifying spend or balance requirement, the registration or redemption deadline, and the credit’s expiry.
  3. Register if the offer requires it. Follow the instructions shown in Ads Manager. TikTok says some credits may be assigned without a separate registration step.
  4. Check how the credit is applied. Depending on the offer, it may apply automatically or need to be assigned to a campaign.

TikTok’s ad-credit registration instructions say to review the credit details and restrictions before registering. The available controls and offer terms depend on the credit shown to your account.

What TikTok ad credit covers

TikTok describes ad credit as credit that can be used to pay for advertising on TikTok. The platform distinguishes between free credit, credit that must be assigned to a campaign, and conditional credit that becomes available or usable only when stated requirements are met. An offer’s own terms determine which mechanics apply. See TikTok’s overview of ad credits and explanation of ad-credit types.

What to check before accepting an offer

  • Eligibility: Confirm which advertiser, account, or business can redeem it. TikTok says offers may be available to qualified advertisers through Ads Manager or a sales representative; having a new account alone does not establish eligibility.
  • Spend condition: Find out whether you must spend a specified amount first, and whether the credit is a reward for that spend. Do not spend solely to unlock a credit unless the advertising spend makes sense for your business independently.
  • Campaign restrictions: Check which ad products or campaigns can use the credit. Some credits are limited to particular products.
  • Activation and deadlines: Confirm whether you must register, assign the credit, or use it by a particular date.
  • Balance and expiry: Look for any required account balance and the date the credit expires. These conditions can differ by promotion.

Why there is no universal credit amount

TikTok’s New Advertiser Incentive Programme describes acquisition coupons and spend-linked conditions, but it does not mean every new advertiser receives a coupon. The programme terms also describe limits such as one redemption per advertiser and restrictions involving another account under a business that has already received a coupon. The offer displayed to you—not a general example—determines the applicable amount and rules.

Offers can be specific to an account, location, or promotion period. TikTok’s general help pages do not establish one current amount that applies to all new advertisers. Treat an amount or threshold as applicable only when it appears in your own Ads Manager offer with its conditions.

When older offer terms may not apply

TikTok has published separate small-business activation offers with their own account requirements and exclusions. Those terms are promotion-specific, and an older page may include dates or expiry examples that are no longer current. Do not assume those rules apply to a different offer; use the live terms in your Ads Manager account.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
