Coupert combines coupon discovery and checkout testing, cashback rewards, and price comparisons in a shopping website, browser extension, and mobile app. Its homepage advertises the extension and app as free, but savings are not guaranteed: coupons may not fit a particular cart, prices can change, and cashback depends on successful transaction tracking. Coupert’s current sources describe price comparisons, not a confirmed price-history or price-drop alert feature.
What Coupert does
Coupert is a digital shopping assistant rather than a single coupon app. Its current Terms of Use describe a website, browser extension, mobile application, coupon identification and supported checkout testing, cashback and rewards, price-comparison insights, and optional Coupert Plus membership. The official homepage advertises a free extension for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, as well as a free app.
The features are intended to help shoppers look for offers or compare prices, but the final price and eligibility depend on the retailer, the items in the cart, and the terms in effect at checkout.
How coupon finding and testing work
Coupert says it may collect publicly available coupons and offers. Where the retailer and checkout are technically supported, a shopper can initiate automated coupon testing during checkout. That can save the work of trying codes one by one, but it does not mean a code will apply to every order or that the displayed offer is the best available deal.

#1 Best Overall
- Codes may have merchant-specific conditions, exclusions, minimum purchase requirements, or other restrictions.
- An offer can change or expire, and the merchant’s checkout is the place to confirm whether it applies.
- The amount shown by a comparison or offer display may differ from the final checkout amount.
Coupert’s Terms state: “Coupert does not guarantee that users will obtain the lowest price or any savings for a particular purchase.” Check the merchant’s final total and offer terms before placing an order.
How Coupert cashback works—and why it may not track
Cashback is conditional on a qualifying purchase being tracked and attributed to Coupert by the merchant or its affiliate network. Coupert’s Terms put it plainly: “Cash Back rewards depend on successful tracking of a qualifying transaction through the Coupert Service.” A displayed cashback rate may be an estimate or maximum, and a reward may remain pending while the merchant or network validates and settles the transaction.
Common reasons a reward can fail
Coupert’s current Terms identify several possible problems:
- Cashback activation was missed or the purchase was not attributed to Coupert.
- Another rewards or coupon program was used in the same transaction.
- Browser or ad-block settings interfered with tracking.
- The order was returned or canceled.
- A technical failure prevented tracking or reward processing.
Because tracking depends on the transaction path, do not treat a displayed rate as money already earned. Review the applicable offer conditions and Coupert’s current terms before relying on a reward.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesDoes Coupert track price drops or send alerts?
The reviewed current Coupert materials substantiate price comparisons across merchants: they describe comparison insights and the ability to check prices. They do not establish historical price tracking or notifications when a product’s price drops. If you need an alert or a price-history chart, confirm that the specific feature is currently available before choosing Coupert for that purpose.
Is Coupert free, and what is Coupert Plus?
Coupert’s current homepage advertises a free browser extension and app. Its Terms also describe optional Coupert Plus membership, but the reviewed pages do not establish a current subscription price or a full comparison of Plus benefits. The Terms say subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled before renewal, subject to applicable law; check the current sign-up and cancellation terms before subscribing.

How to evaluate whether it fits your shopping habits
Coupert may be useful if you want one service to look for coupons, test supported codes at checkout, offer cashback opportunities, and compare prices. Those tools are most valuable when you verify the retailer’s final total and understand the offer’s conditions rather than assuming an advertised saving will apply.
Before using any shopping assistant, compare the details that affect your own purchases:
Best Value
- Which retailers and browsers it supports.
- Whether coupon testing is automatic, user-initiated, or unavailable at a particular checkout, and what exclusions apply.
- How cashback activation, tracking, validation, waiting periods, and redemption work.
- Whether it compares prices only or also provides actual price alerts or history.
- What data it handles and how its privacy terms apply.
- Which features are free, which require a paid plan, and how subscription renewal and cancellation work.
What Coupert’s savings figures mean
Coupert’s homepage, accessed October 8, 2026, displays 8.75 million users and annual per-user savings figures of $180.12 through coupons, $86.92 through cashback, and $333.74 through price comparison. Coupert does not provide a methodology on that page, so these are company-published claims, not independently verified results or a prediction of what a typical shopper will save.
