In the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League, each finalist was scheduled to receive €15.5 million for reaching the final. The winner was scheduled to receive an additional €4.5 million, making the champion’s fixed final-stage award €20 million in total. Those figures are separate from each club’s full-season UEFA distribution.
How much did the 2023/24 Champions League finalists earn?
UEFA’s distribution circular, dated 7 July 2023, set the fixed payments for the final stage as follows:

These are scheduled stage-related amounts in UEFA’s 2023 circular, not a complete accounting of what either club earned across the season. UEFA said its distribution plan was based on estimated revenue, with final distributions dependent on revenue actually received.
Final-stage prize money versus total season earnings
A club’s total UEFA distribution includes more than its final-stage award. For clubs entering from the group stage, UEFA’s 2023/24 distribution structure included starting fees, fixed performance-related payments, coefficient-based payments and a variable market-pool component.

UEFA’s financial report for 2023/24, published on 3 April 2025, reported these season totals:

The season totals are realized figures reported after the season; they should not be read as prize money attributable solely to the final or to winning it.

Who won the 2024 final?
Real Madrid beat Borussia Dortmund 2–0 at Wembley on 1 June 2024. Under UEFA’s scheduled final-stage payments, both clubs qualified for the €15.5 million finalist payment, while Real Madrid also qualified for the additional €4.5 million winner payment. The cited UEFA figures do not establish a separate all-in amount attributable only to Borussia Dortmund’s final-day settlement.
