Crawford defeated Álvarez by unanimous decision after 12 rounds at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. UFC/Zuffa Boxing reported the judges’ scores as 116–112, 115–113 and 115–113. The Associated Press reported that 70,482 people attended, a venue-record crowd.
Before the fight, Álvarez told Netflix he felt better than ever and said he would need patience and intelligence. After the defeat, he told the Associated Press: “He deserves all the credit.”
Canelo vs. Crawford odds: what the published figures mean
Netflix’s pre-fight coverage described Álvarez as the betting favorite but did not publish an odds line. A BetMGM Canada article displays Álvarez at -161, Crawford at +145 and a draw at +1400. However, that page is dated March 11, 2026—after the bout—and still describes the September 2025 event as upcoming. These are stale figures printed on that page, not verified closing odds or odds available to bet now. A reliable closing line is not established here.

Size versus reach
Netflix commentator Jon Anik characterized Crawford as the smaller man but noted that he had a reach advantage of a few inches.
