Coinbase publishes different reward frequencies by asset, but those intervals are not a promise that a particular reward will arrive at a precise time. Coinbase also says rewards are not guaranteed, and its public help pages cannot diagnose an individual account.
Check the schedule for the asset you staked
Coinbase’s consumer staking help page lists these payout frequencies. Coinbase says customers can check the current values under My Assets or Asset Details, so use the figures shown in your account if they differ from the table below. These are listed frequencies, not a guaranteed posting time for an individual reward. Coinbase Help: Earn rewards by staking

A longer interval for one asset does not mean another asset’s schedule applies to it. Coinbase’s published table describes payout frequency; it does not establish that a reward is owed in a particular account.
Where to look for a reward in your account
Coinbase says staking rewards are credited to the staking balance and appear as transactions in transaction history. Check both places for the relevant asset; a reward may have posted without appearing where you first expected it. Coinbase’s asset detail view can also show the current schedule. Check eligibility and account notices
Staking eligibility can affect whether Coinbase pays rewards. Coinbase says an account must be active and in good standing, the customer must be in an eligible jurisdiction, and required tax identification must be provided where applicable. Eligibility is checked daily. If an eligibility issue arises, Coinbase says it may be unable to pay rewards until the issue is resolved. Coinbase Help: Staking eligibility
- Review Coinbase account alerts and notices for a hold, verification request, or other action.
- Check whether your account remains in good standing and whether any requested tax identification details are missing.
- Confirm that staking is available for your jurisdiction and asset.
If Coinbase marks you ineligible and you believe the status is incorrect, Coinbase’s eligibility guidance recommends contacting Support.

Why rewards can vary or fail to arrive
Coinbase says it forwards rewards it receives from the blockchain after commission. Rewards depend on factors such as asset and network conditions; Coinbase does not guarantee that a customer will earn a reward. It also identifies protocol or network conditions and Coinbase hardware, software, or network downtime as factors that can affect rewards or result in lost rewards. Coinbase Help: Staking risks
Coinbase’s displayed APY is backward-looking, not a promise of a future payout. A displayed estimate or the published schedule alone cannot confirm that a specific reward is due.

What to do if the reward is still missing
- Identify the staked asset and compare the time since its last reward with the current schedule in My Assets or Asset Details.
- Check that asset’s staking balance and transaction history for a recorded reward.
- Review account notices and eligibility, including any account hold, jurisdiction requirement, or tax identification request.
- If the reward remains absent beyond the asset’s listed frequency, or your eligibility status appears wrong, contact Coinbase Support through Coinbase’s official account interface.
Do not share your password, recovery phrase, or verification codes with anyone claiming they can release a pending reward. Keep troubleshooting within Coinbase’s official interface and Support channel.
Pending rewards are not the same as unstaking
Unstaking is a separate process from receiving staking rewards. Coinbase lists asset-dependent estimated unstaking times and warns that standard unstaking can take from hours to weeks. That wait concerns access to unstaked assets; it does not determine when a reward should post. Coinbase Help: Earn rewards by staking

What Coinbase’s public guidance cannot tell you
Public help pages do not establish whether a particular customer is owed a reward, diagnose an individual account, confirm a live account-specific incident, or provide a case-specific resolution time. Those questions require the account’s records or help from Coinbase Support. The consumer staking guidance also should not be confused with Coinbase Prime, which has separate wallet and validator mechanics.
