The CUET UG 2025 application correction window ran from 26 March through 28 March 2025, closing at 11:50 PM. It is no longer open. The National Testing Agency (NTA) allowed changes to specified application details, but candidates could not edit contact information or addresses, and submitting corrections froze the form.
When did the CUET UG 2025 correction window open and close?
NTA set the correction period for 26–28 March 2025, with the portal closing at 11:50 PM on 28 March. The dates appeared in NTA’s 25 March 2025 correction notice. An earlier NTA notice dated 22 March had extended the application and fee-submission deadlines and listed the same correction dates; the 25 March notice specified the closing time.
The phrase “opens today” is therefore historical, not a description of an available service. NTA’s CUET UG archive retains the 2025 notice, while the site’s current news area carries 2026 updates.
Which details could candidates edit?
NTA’s Annexure 1 to the correction notice listed the fields candidates could update. Candidates could also change their four examination-city preferences, based on permanent and present addresses, and add or edit subjects, up to five subjects in total, including languages and the General Aptitude Test.

- Class 10 or equivalent details and Class 12 or equivalent details
- Date of birth and gender
- Category and sub-category, including PwD/PwBD details
- Uploaded photograph and signature
- All four examination-city preferences
- Subjects, up to a maximum of five including languages and the General Aptitude Test
These are the fields NTA specified for the 2025 correction facility; do not assume the rules are the same for another CUET cycle. See Annexure 1 to NTA’s notice.
Which details could not be changed?
The 2025 notice excluded these fields from correction:
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Permanent address and present address
- Emergency contact number
Could a correction require an extra fee?
Yes. If a change affected the fee, candidates had to pay the additional amount where applicable. NTA described the opportunity as one-time: after corrections were submitted, the application form was frozen. Its notice cautioned that no further correction opportunity would be given, so candidates were told to check changes carefully before submitting. NTA’s correction instructions set out this condition.
Can you still correct a CUET UG 2025 application?
No. The correction window closed at 11:50 PM on 28 March 2025. The archived 2025 facility cannot be treated as open now. For a question about a later CUET cycle, consult the official CUET UG website and current notices; the 2025 correction rules do not establish what a later cycle will permit.
