Etsy’s policy allows original designs as digital downloads and designs made into physical goods by a third party. That makes it a possible storefront for original work, but the policy does not establish that every photographic scan or listing qualifies, nor that an item will sell. Can I license a digital Polaroid image?
Adobe Stock offers a contributor marketplace where submitted assets are reviewed for technical quality, legal compliance, and commercial suitability. If an asset is licensed, contributors can receive royalties; acceptance and licensing are not assured, and no particular royalty amount is established here. Adobe says contributors retain ownership while granting Adobe rights to license content under its standard terms. A physical instant print is not automatically a suitable stock submission. The route involves preparing a digital file and ensuring you have the rights and permissions required for its intended use.
Can product referrals earn money?
For photography publishers, Polaroid’s US affiliate program is a direct referral option. Its current page says partners can share tracked links through a website, blog, social media, or email, and lists photography and camera publishers among possible partner types. The page advertises up to 6% commission on qualified sales and a 30-day cookie period. These are advertised program terms, not a guaranteed rate or income; verify current enrollment, geography, eligible products, and conditions before applying or publishing links.

Relevant recommendations might include compatible film, accessories, or cameras for someone choosing a first model. Polaroid’s official store lists cameras, film, printers, and accessories: Polaroid US Official Online Store. Keep referrals tied to a genuine reader need rather than inserting product links into unrelated advice.
Check film compatibility before recommending it
Polaroid lists separate Go, i-Type, 600, and SX-70 film lines. Its catalog says Go film works with Go cameras; i-Type film is for recent i-Type cameras, including Now and Now+; 600 film is made for vintage 600 cameras and also works with i-Type cameras; and SX-70 cameras use their own format. Check the reader’s precise camera model against the current catalog before recommending a purchase: Polaroid instant film catalog. Do not assume the formats are interchangeable.

Can I sell my Polaroid camera?
If the camera is no longer useful to you, selling it is a separate way to recover value from the equipment. Polaroid Support says it does not buy used cameras directly from customers and recommends eBay, Depop, or Etsy as online sales platforms. It also names Retrospekt as a camera buyer. How to choose a route
- Have a print people may want? Test interest in the original or a clearly labeled reproduction, and check the storefront’s current rules.
- Have a digital image with suitable rights and quality? Review the stock platform’s requirements before spending time preparing a submission.
- Already publish camera or photography advice? Consider relevant referrals, but verify current affiliate terms and recommend only products that fit the reader’s camera and needs.
- Do not use the camera? Compare resale options for the equipment; this does not require selling or licensing your photographs.
