BlockDAG’s Reported Raise: What the $233.5 Million Figure Shows—and What It Doesn’t

The $233.5 million BlockDAG figure is a historical sponsored report, while the project later displayed $264.77 million. Solana’s October 2026 returns varied by time window; comparable Litecoin figures are not established.

BlockDAG’s $233.5 million fundraising figure is a historical claim reported in a sponsored WEEX article, not an independently verified or audited total. A BlockDAG page surfaced later displays $264.77 million, also as a project claim. Meanwhile, Solana’s performance depends on the period measured: it was down for the day but up over the week and 30 days in an October 7, 2026 market recap. The available figures do not establish how Litecoin performed over those same periods.

How much has BlockDAG raised?

Two published figures are in circulation, and they have different dates and sources:

Figure Source and context What it establishes
$233.5 million WEEX Crypto News, in a sponsored article published roughly in 2025 A historical amount reported in promotional coverage, not audited or independently confirmed proceeds.
$264.77 million BlockDAG Network, on a project page surfaced later The amount displayed by the project; it is not independent verification of funds raised.

The figures should not be treated as a reconciled fundraising ledger or as proof of cash received. The sources do not explain whether the totals use the same counting method, cover the same period, or include the same categories. For a financial decision, the distinction between a project-reported total and independently verified proceeds matters.

Are Solana and Litecoin struggling for gains?

Solana: the answer changes with the measurement window

InflowScan’s October 7, 2026 recap listed Solana at $116.16, down 3.8% for the day but up 9.2% for the week and 15.6% over 30 days. Those readings are not contradictory: they describe different intervals. The figures are a dated snapshot, not a current quote or a forecast.

Accordingly, the broad claim that Solana was “struggling for gains” is too vague to assess without a time window. A daily decline can occur during a period of positive weekly or monthly returns.

Litecoin: no same-period comparison is established here

The available figures do not provide Litecoin returns aligned with Solana’s daily, weekly, and 30-day windows. They therefore cannot support a conclusion that Litecoin was gaining or losing over those same periods. A fair comparison would require the same price source, timestamp, and measurement windows for both assets.

What to check before relying on a fundraising or price claim

  • Identify who is making the claim. A project page and a sponsored article are not the same as an independent financial record.
  • Check the date and definition. Fundraising totals may refer to different reporting dates or counting methods; the cited pages do not reconcile their figures.
  • For market performance, match the interval. Compare daily with daily, weekly with weekly, or 30-day with 30-day returns, using a shared timestamp and price source.
  • Separate project statements from verified outcomes. BlockDAG’s site describes BDAG as live across exchanges and says its X1 app is live and staking is active. These are issuer statements, not independent evidence of adoption or investment value. See BlockDAG’s project website.
