The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CUET UG 2024 schedule on 20 April 2024, initially setting exams for 15–24 May. The 2024 exam is over: after a Delhi-centre change affecting four papers, the final exam dates ran through 29 May. NTA’s 20 April 2024 public notice and schedule PDF is the official date sheet. It contains two annexures: Annexure 1 for pen-and-paper exams and Annexure 2 for computer-based testing (CBT). NTA also directed candidates to the CUET UG official website and the NTA website for updates.
This PDF is a public timetable, not an admit card. An admit card is an individual candidate’s document; the timetable lists exam dates and sessions for papers.
What dates did the schedule show?
The 20 April notice announced an overall exam window of 15–24 May 2024. That was the initial window, not the complete set of dates ultimately used: NTA’s 7 July post-exam notice records exams on 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24 and 29 May.

These dates come from NTA’s 7 July 2024 post-exam notice. The 29 May date was added after a limited rescheduling for Delhi centres.
What changed for Delhi centres?
On 14 May 2024, NTA announced that Chemistry, Biology, English and General Test papers scheduled for 15 May at centres across Delhi would move to 29 May. This was not a nationwide postponement: the 15 May schedule remained in effect in other cities, including Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Noida, and abroad. NTA also said the other dates listed for 16–18 May remained scheduled.
Read NTA’s 14 May Delhi rescheduling notice for the exact change. For historical questions about an individual’s 2024 exam location or paper, use the candidate’s admit card and the notices rather than applying the Delhi change to all centres.
Was CUET UG 2024 online or offline?
It used both modes: computer-based testing (CBT) and pen-and-paper testing. The applicable date-sheet row depended on the opted paper and the exam mode; candidates needed to check the paper, date and session against the relevant annexure.
How long were the papers?
NTA’s 20 April schedule notice listed 63 test papers. Most were scheduled for 45 minutes. The exceptions listed as 60-minute papers were:
- Accountancy
- Economics
- Physics
- Computer Science/Informatics Practices
- Chemistry
- Mathematics/Applied Mathematics
- General Test
What did NTA say about scale?
The figures differed between the planned schedule and the post-exam notice. In its 20 April notice, NTA described the planned examination as serving about 13.48 lakh candidates across 380 cities, including 26 outside India. In its 7 July notice, NTA described the examination as serving about 13.48 lakh candidates across 379 cities, including 26 outside India. These are figures from two separate NTA notices and should not be combined into one city count.

Where can I find the 2024 admit-card notice?
NTA’s 13 May 2024 admit-card notice instructed candidates scheduled for 15–18 May to download their candidate-specific card from the official CUET UG site using their application form number and date of birth. It advised downloading again on the evening of 14 May because administrative centre changes might be reflected. Those were instructions for the 2024 exam, not current login guidance.
