What is BUSY accounting software?

Which BUSY product or edition should I use?
The official download page lists multiple products and tools, including BUSY Magic, BUSY 21, an Online Client, a mobile app and BUSY Agent. Check that page for current names, releases and trial terms; listings can change. At the time reflected in the available page result, it showed BUSY Magic 1.6 and BUSY 21 14.9, but those version numbers should not be treated as current without checking the live page.

BUSY’s release notes illustrate why edition checks matter: in the release context described there, GST reports, e-returns, e-way bills and e-invoices were limited to Standard/Saffron and higher editions, and direct GSTR-1/IFF filing through EVC was described. These are release-specific details, not a guarantee for every current edition. Confirm current eligibility with the relevant edition documentation or BUSY support.

How do I add a company in BUSY?
BUSY lists “How do I add a company?” among its common support questions. The exact instructions can depend on the product and release, so use the current BUSY FAQ or support page and select the instructions that match your setup. Before following a guide, identify whether you are using BUSY 21, BUSY Magic or another product.
How do I create an invoice?
Invoice creation is another question addressed in BUSY’s FAQ. The vendor promotes GST billing and invoicing, but the exact workflow and available tax options may vary by edition and release. Follow the current instructions in the FAQ for your product, and verify that your edition supports the tax or invoice workflow you intend to use.

How do I take a backup?
BUSY’s FAQ includes “How do I take a backup?” and its help topics also cover backup and restore. Use the current instructions for your specific product and release rather than assuming that desktop, online and mobile data follow the same backup process. If you need to restore data or suspect corruption, consult the matching data-support topic before making changes.
Which accounting, GST and inventory features does BUSY offer?
BUSY’s official feature pages describe accounting, GST accounting, financial reports and inventory management. The vendor also promotes inventory tracking for batches, expiry dates, serial numbers and custom attributes, alongside automatic e-way bills, e-invoicing and GSTR reconciliation. These are vendor-described capabilities; verify that the specific feature is included in your product, edition and release before relying on it for a workflow.
For tax-related questions, check the edition and release in addition to the country and applicable tax process. The help center covers GST, VAT, TDS, TCS and RCM topics, but the existence of a help category does not by itself establish that every workflow is available in every BUSY edition.
