The $30-by-2030 figure is an unsubstantiated prediction, not a demonstrated valuation or consensus forecast. An Analytics Insight article dated 12 May 2024 also claimed BlockDAG had appeared at Piccadilly Circus, reported a $25.2 million presale, and said it was outshining Solana and The Graph. The available evidence confirms that the article made those claims; it does not independently verify the display or presale, or support the comparison.
What did the 2024 headline actually claim?
Analytics Insight’s 12 May 2024 article, “BlockDAG Steals the Spotlight: Outshining Solana (SOL) and Graph (GRT) with Piccadilly Circus Fanfare and $30 Price Prediction by 2030,” combined three different claims: a Piccadilly Circus display, a presale said to have reached $25.2 million, and a forecast of $30 per BDAG by 2030. Those are claims in a dated article, not independently verified current facts.
The surfaced article text does not identify an analyst or provide a valuation model, assumptions, or methodology for the $30 figure. It should therefore be read as that article’s prediction—not as a price target supported by disclosed analysis, a consensus estimate, or evidence that BDAG is likely to reach that price.
What would $30 per BDAG imply?
BlockDAG’s December 2024 whitepaper states a maximum supply of 150 billion BDAG. Multiplying that stated maximum by the article’s $30 prediction gives an implied fully diluted value of $4.5 trillion ($30 × 150 billion). This is arithmetic to illustrate the scale of the claim; it is not a published valuation or a forecast that the market will assign that value.

The whitepaper’s allocation table divides the stated maximum supply as follows:

These are the issuer’s stated allocations in its December 2024 whitepaper. A fully diluted calculation applies a price to the maximum supply; it is not the same as market capitalization based on tokens circulating at a particular time. The calculation also says nothing by itself about demand, trading liquidity, future token availability, or whether the predicted price is achievable.

Does the evidence show BlockDAG surpassing Solana or The Graph?
No like-for-like evidence in the cited article or BlockDAG whitepaper establishes that BlockDAG surpasses Solana or The Graph. The whitepaper describes BlockDAG’s own design, including proof-of-work mining and a directed acyclic graph (DAG) structure. Those descriptions document the project’s stated design; they do not independently demonstrate security, performance, adoption, or an advantage over another network.
A defensible comparison would use data for all three projects measured on the same date and under the same definitions. At minimum, it would need to examine:

- Market capitalization and circulating supply, with the data date and supply definition stated.
- On-chain usage, using comparable activity measures rather than project-reported audience counts.
- Developer and ecosystem activity, assessed with a consistent methodology.
- Network performance under stated test conditions, not an unqualified throughput claim.
- Security and decentralization design, with the relevant assumptions made explicit.
- Liquidity and exchange coverage, distinguishing listings from actual trading depth.
The 2024 headline supplies no reproducible framework or comparable measurements for those areas. Its “outshining” wording is therefore promotional, not a substantiated ranking.
Was there a Piccadilly Circus display?
The Analytics Insight article reported a BlockDAG display at Piccadilly Circus on 12 May 2024. The evidence available here confirms the article’s report, but not the event independently. The same distinction applies to its $25.2 million presale figure: that amount is what the article reported, not an independently confirmed total.

What project milestones are reported as of 8 October 2026?
BlockDAG’s live roadmap, accessed on 8 October 2026, marks several milestones as completed or live: the token generation event on 11 February 2026, staking on 19 February 2026, and initial trading on LBank, BitMart, and Coinstore on 5 March 2026. These are statuses reported by the project on its roadmap, not independent verification of trading conditions or network adoption.
The same roadmap includes further exchange-expansion entries with March and April 2026 due dates, some shown as in progress. A due date alone does not establish completion, and roadmap status labels can change. The December 2024 whitepaper remains useful for understanding the project’s stated design and token allocation, but it predates these milestones.

What should a prospective buyer or miner verify?
For a personal-finance decision, treat the $30 figure as speculative and separate project statements from independently verifiable information. Before relying on any forecast, check the current token supply and circulating supply, how allocations are released, where BDAG trades, and whether trading activity and liquidity support the price assumptions being presented. A high implied fully diluted value is a scale check, not evidence of future returns.
BlockDAG’s roadmap says its X30 and X100 miners have been tested and are working, while the project FAQ says physical miner shipments have begun. These project statements do not establish independently verified delivery scale or mining profitability. A miner’s existence or shipment does not show that its revenue will exceed electricity, equipment, hosting, maintenance, and other costs; those inputs and the applicable mining conditions must be assessed separately.
