What is known about the later 2025 cycle
The latest cycle established by the available notices is the 2025 State Service Examination. Chhattisgarh Janman, a Government of Chhattisgarh public information magazine, reported that applications opened at noon on December 1, 2025 and closed at 11:59 p.m. on December 30, 2025. The preliminary examination was scheduled for February 22, 2026. The Indian Express reported the same application deadline and preliminary date. Both dates have passed.
The Indian Express reported 238 vacancies in its initial coverage of the 2025 notice. That is an initial reported count, not a verified final or revised total; later corrigenda are not established here. It should not be confused with the 242 vacancies reported for the 2023 cycle. Is a CGPSC application open now?
The information available here does not verify a 2026 CGPSC State Service Examination notification, application deadline, vacancy total, or active application page. Do not treat an old “apply today” link as live. Before submitting personal information or paying any fee, locate a current notice through the official Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission website and confirm that its cycle year, application dates, and portal match.
