The reported release covered ASI/Stenographer and Head Constable (Ministerial), Constable/Tradesman, and Constable (Driver and DCPO). India Today and Scroll reported the release on 18 October 2023. India Today’s 18 October 2023 report and Scroll’s report provide the contemporaneous details.

How candidates downloaded the 2023 e-admit card
At the time, candidates were instructed to use the CISF recruitment website and the link for their recruitment post. The reported steps were:
- Open the CISF recruitment website and select the admit-card link for the relevant post.
- Sign in with the Registration ID and Password.
- Download the e-admit card and print it for the examination centre.
India Today reported that admit cards would not be sent by post. Since this recruitment cycle is over, these steps describe the process reported in 2023, not a claim that its old link remains available. For a retained record or a current recruitment query, use official CISF channels rather than relying on an archived link.

What information was on the admit card?
India Today reported that the card displayed the candidate’s name and roll number, exam schedule, examination centre and location, and reporting time. Candidates were advised to carry it to the examination centre. The individual card—not a general schedule—was the source to check for the candidate’s specific post, venue, and timing.

No. Scroll reproduced a notice stating that issuance of an admit card did not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility, which would be scrutinized at a later stage. In practical terms, receiving a card was not final confirmation that a candidate met every eligibility requirement.
