Its current Learn to Trade section combines four account-gated online courses with live webinars, recorded videos, market analysis, and trading guides.
That makes HFM a well-resourced broker-sponsored education provider. It does not, however, prove that HFM is objectively “the best educational broker.” HFM does not publish an independently audited ranking, student-outcome study, or comparison methodology establishing that claim. The more accurate conclusion is that HFM is particularly useful for traders who want structured education inside the same ecosystem as their broker.
What trading classes does HFM offer?
HFM’s current online course page presents four stages: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Master. Together, they contain 22 listed lessons. The sequence moves from basic market terminology to analysis, risk management, strategy design, and trader psychology.
| Course | Lessons | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Beginner Course The Financial Trading Markets for Beginners |
11 | How trading works, CFDs, margin, leverage, lots, pips, spreads, swaps, and basic approaches |
| Intermediate Course Methods of Analysis and The Economy |
6 | Trend analysis, price action, breakouts, fundamental analysis, order flow, and market risk appetite |
| Advanced Course Risk Management and Trading Plans |
3 | Trading plans, decision-making tools, loss limits, risk management, and adapting to market conditions |
| Master Course Trading Strategies and Trader Psychology |
2 | Trade setups, entries and exits, changing strategies, and trading psychology |
The current page names Andria Pichidi and Michalis Efthymiou as instructors for the displayed courses. HFM lists each course’s requirements as “No.” It does not currently publish numerical durations: the duration field displays “–Min.” for the courses. HFM also does not state on the public course page that students receive a certificate.

How to access HFM’s online courses
The current access process is not completely open to anonymous visitors. HFM’s course page first displays an account-authentication panel.
#1 Best Overall
- Open HFM → Learn to Trade → Courses.
- Enter the email address and password associated with your HFM account.
- Click “Unlock Now.”
- After access is granted, choose “Beginner Course,” “Intermediate Course,” “Advanced Course,” or “Master Course.”
People without an account are shown “Not Registered? Register Here.” The page also includes a “Can’t sign in?” option. If authentication fails, the displayed error reads: “Unlocking could not be completed. Please check your Email and/or Password.”
This matters because older HFM education material describes a different route: opening a demo or live account, entering the Trader’s Room, and selecting an “EDUCATION” tab. That may remain relevant to a regional or legacy interface, but it should not be presented as the universal current method. The current international course page uses account details and “Unlock Now.”
What the course progression gets right
The four-stage structure is one of HFM’s stronger educational features. A new trader can start with the mechanics of leveraged products before moving into chart analysis and trading plans. That is preferable to dropping a beginner directly into strategy videos without explaining margin, spreads, swaps, and leverage.
The progression also includes topics that are often neglected by promotional trading content. The Advanced Course focuses on limiting losses and refining a plan when market conditions change. The Master Course addresses when to open or close trades and the psychological side of following a strategy.

- It is made up of premium quality material.
Still, the number of lessons should not be confused with depth. Eleven beginner lessons, six intermediate lessons, three advanced lessons, and two master lessons provide a framework, not proof of professional-level training. Because HFM does not publish lesson durations on the current page, prospective students cannot use the public information to estimate the total study time.
Webinars, videos, and guides
The courses are only part of HFM’s education offering. Its Learn to Trade section also advertises:
- Free forex webinars
- More than 20 educational and tutorial videos
- More than 30 recorded forex videos
- Daily market analysis
- A forex e-course
- Forex FAQs
- A guide to trading gold
HFM describes the e-course as a step-by-step resource covering forex basics, financial chart reading, trading strategies, and trading psychology. Its broader Education Centre includes material such as How to trade Gold, The HFM Guide on Trading Indices, The HFM Guide on Trading Stocks, introductions to forex and margin, how-to videos, podcasts, webinars, and past webinars.
The live webinars add an interactive element. HFM promotes expert-led sessions, market insights, trading concepts, and question-and-answer sessions. Webinar pages generally include a “Register Now” button and a “Select language” control. Topics, presenters, languages, and dates vary by regional website and can change as the calendar is updated. For example, the international calendar has listed sessions on improving trade timing and handling volatility, as well as a forex 101 session for new traders.

Is HFM the best educational broker?
There is not enough evidence to make that an objective fact. HFM’s official pages show a broad education program, but they do not provide:
- An independent broker-education ranking
- An audited comparison with competing brokers
- Verified student completion or performance data
- A published methodology for measuring educational quality
- Evidence that course access produces better trading results
“Best” can be a reasonable personal judgment if a trader values HFM’s particular combination of structured courses, webinars, and broker-integrated resources. It is not a verified industry designation.
There is another important distinction: HFM’s material is broker-sponsored education. It is published within HFM’s trading and account ecosystem, so it should not be described as independent financial education. That does not automatically make the material unsuitable, but readers should understand who provides it and consider other sources before making decisions.

Who may benefit from HFM’s classes?
HFM’s education may suit:
- Beginners who need explanations of leverage, margin, pips, spreads, and swaps before trading.
- Developing traders who want a basic introduction to technical and fundamental analysis.
- Rule-focused traders looking for material on trading plans, risk limits, and adapting to changing markets.
- Existing HFM clients who want courses, webinars, analysis, and account tools in one place.
It may be less suitable as a complete education for someone seeking an independent qualification, extensive practical assessment, a verified mentor, or a detailed record of learning outcomes. The public course information does not establish that those features are included.
Regional and account limitations
Access should be checked before relying on HFM’s course descriptions. The current page requires an HFM account login and does not clearly state whether every account type, HFM legal entity, or jurisdiction receives identical course access.
HFM also says that it does not offer services to residents of the United States, Canada, Sudan, Syria, Iran, North Korea, the UAE, Türkiye, and other jurisdictions. A reader’s ability to view an HFM education page does not necessarily mean they can open an account or use account-linked courses. Regional websites can also differ in regulation, leverage, available products, webinar schedules, and account conditions.
A sensible way to use HFM’s education
- Confirm availability. Check your regional HFM website and whether you can legally open the relevant account.
- Start with the Beginner Course. Do not skip explanations of leverage, margin, spreads, swaps, and contract sizes.
- Write down the rules. Turn the risk-management material into specific limits for position size, loss per trade, and total exposure.
- Compare viewpoints. Use independent educational sources to test HFM’s explanations and identify gaps.
- Use a demo account first. Practise order placement, stop-loss use, and the effects of spread and leverage without risking live capital.
- Review the product disclosure. Make sure you understand the instrument, costs, margin requirements, and liquidation rules before trading.
Education can improve understanding, but it cannot remove market risk or turn a leveraged product into a suitable investment for everyone.

Risk warning
Forex and derivatives, including leveraged CFDs, can result in rapid losses and may not be suitable for all investors. HFM’s course pages warn that leveraged products carry a high degree of risk to capital. Before trading, consider your objectives, financial circumstances, and experience. Seek independent advice if you are unsure. HFM’s education pages do not guarantee profits, provide personalised investment advice, or establish that trading is appropriate for any particular reader.

Quick Recap
Is HFM objectively the best educational broker?
That claim is not independently verified. HFM offers a broad broker-sponsored education program, but it does not publish an audited ranking or comparative evidence proving that its education is superior to competitors.
The Bottom Line
HFM is a well-resourced broker-sponsored education provider, with four account-gated courses and a combined 22 listed lessons, plus webinars, recorded videos, market analysis, and trading guides. Its staged curriculum is a practical starting point for beginners and developing traders, especially existing HFM clients. But “the best educational broker” is a marketing judgment, not an independently established fact. Check regional eligibility, compare the material with independent sources, and treat education as preparation—not a promise of trading profits.
