Bluehost’s US-facing pricing page lists 36-month introductory rates of $3.99 per month for Starter, $6.99 for Business and $14.99 for eCommerce Essentials. Those are monthly equivalents for a 36-month initial term—not the total amount due at signup. The same page shows 36-month renewal rates of $9.99, $13.99 and $21.99 per month, respectively. Prices are a snapshot, can change, and exclude VAT/GST; check your checkout and account for the amount that applies to you. Bluehost’s pricing page

Bluehost’s displayed shared-hosting prices

The figures below are Bluehost’s US-facing pricing-page snapshot, checked October 8, 2026. Both columns are monthly equivalents for a 36-month term. The promotional rate applies to the initial term; hosting then renews at the regular rate shown in the control panel. The table does not state the full checkout total, so confirm the term, amount due and any selected add-ons before paying.

Plan Introductory rate, 36-month term Renewal rate, 36-month term
Starter $3.99/month $9.99/month
Business $6.99/month $13.99/month
eCommerce Essentials $14.99/month $21.99/month

These figures are listed on Bluehost’s pricing page. The advertised rates are not a guarantee for every visitor or account: promotions and regular prices can change, and VAT/GST is excluded from the displayed prices.

How much does Bluehost cost after the first term?

Renewal cost depends on the plan and billing term. Bluehost’s renewal FAQ lists these monthly equivalents for several shared-hosting plans. The FAQ was updated February 11, 2026; it is a general rate list, not a substitute for the price shown in an existing customer’s account.

Plan Monthly renewal 12-month renewal 36-month renewal
Starter $15.99/month $11.99/month $9.99/month
Business $20.99/month $15.99/month $13.99/month
Pro $24.99/month $18.99/month $16.99/month
Premium $29.99/month $22.99/month $20.99/month
Enhanced (spelled “Enchanced” in the FAQ table) $35.99/month $27.99/month $24.99/month
Elite $37.99/month $32.99/month $28.99/month
eCommerce Essentials $32.99/month $24.99/month $21.99/month
Second commerce row (apparently eCommerce Premium) $38.99/month $33.99/month $30.99/month

Rates are from Bluehost’s renewal FAQ. Bluehost’s separate shared-hosting price page contains overlapping information but does not show exactly the same plans as the renewal FAQ. Do not assume the two tables fully reconcile.

Check your actual renewal amount

For an existing account, sign in to the Bluehost Portal and open the Renewal Center. Check the plan name and renewal term as well as the price: choosing a different term changes the listed monthly equivalent, and Bluehost says the account Renewal Center has the latest renewal amount. Use that account-specific figure for budgeting rather than assuming a general webpage table applies to your subscription.

Other renewal rates listed in the FAQ

Bluehost’s February 11, 2026 renewal FAQ also lists monthly-equivalent rates for cloud, VPS and dedicated hosting. The figures are shown as monthly / 12-month / 36-month renewals:

Category and plan Monthly 12-month 36-month
Cloud 10 $90/month $75/month $65/month
Cloud 25 $180/month $155/month $140/month
Cloud 50 $310/month $250/month $230/month
VPS Standard NVMe 4 $59.99/month $54.99/month $53.99/month
VPS Enhanced NVMe 8 $92.99/month $95.99/month $83.99/month
VPS Ultimate NVMe 16 $141.99/month $131.99/month $128.99/month
Dedicated Standard NVMe 32 $194.47/month $180.32/month $180.32/month
Dedicated Enhanced NVMe 64 $285.11/month $264.37/month $259.19/month
Dedicated Premium NVMe 128 $417.11/month $386.77/month $379.18/month

The FAQ lists VPS Enhanced NVMe 8 at a higher monthly equivalent for a 12-month renewal than for a monthly renewal; the figures above preserve Bluehost’s listed amounts rather than correcting them. Verify the plan and term in your account before relying on this general schedule. Source: Bluehost’s renewal FAQ.

Domain costs: free for the first year, then renewable

Bluehost advertises one free domain for one year with qualifying 12- or 36-month hosting plans. The offer is limited to eligible, non-premium names and listed top-level domains (TLDs); redeem it within 90 days. After the first year, the domain renews automatically at the then-current rate unless you cancel. Bluehost also says a newly registered domain cannot be transferred to another registrar during its first 60 days. See the offer conditions on the pricing page.

Domain charges vary by extension. Bluehost’s domain-price list gives these examples:

Domain extension Registration Renewal Privacy
.com $12.99 $23.99 $15
.net $18.99 $19.99 $15
.org $14.99 $18.99 $15

These are examples from a changeable price list, not rates for every domain. Check the current price for your specific name and extension on Bluehost’s domain pricing page.

If a domain expires

Bluehost says it may hold an expired domain for up to 30 days as a courtesy before it enters redemption. The listed redemption fee is $99, with no additional renewal fee. Bluehost describes automatic renewal attempts using the saved payment card. The timing and availability of a particular expired domain may depend on its status, so do not treat the courtesy period as a substitute for renewing on time. Source: Bluehost’s domain pricing page.

Other charges to check before checkout

Professional Email trial

Bluehost’s pricing page says the one-month Professional Email trial renews at $2.99 per month unless cancelled before renewal. Its web-hosting page shows the same trial disclosure but lists $2.50 per month. Because Bluehost’s pages conflict, verify the amount and cancellation deadline shown in your checkout or account rather than treating either figure as universal. Sources: pricing page and web-hosting page.

Taxes

The US-facing pricing page says VAT/GST is not included. Bluehost’s domain pricing page says VAT is charged separately to EU customers. The tax treatment depends on your location and checkout; the displayed US-facing rates should not be assumed to include all applicable taxes. Sources: pricing page and domain pricing page.

What the refund policy means for your cost

Bluehost advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee for hosting and attached solutions, but most add-ons, including domains, are excluded. If you keep a free domain associated with the hosting purchase, Bluehost may deduct a non-refundable domain fee from the refund. The company says it does not offer refunds after 30 days. Its domain pricing page also describes setup and domain-registration fees as non-refundable, and its hosting-cancellation summary notes a Cloud-hosting exception. Review the terms for the specific service before cancelling; the guarantee is not a promise that every charge will be returned. Sources: pricing page, web-hosting page and domain pricing page.

How to budget for Bluehost fairly

Compare the total commitment across the initial term and the renewal term—not just the advertised monthly equivalent. Before buying or renewing, check:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • The full amount due for the initial hosting term and its duration.
  • The renewal plan, billing term and account-specific Renewal Center price.
  • Whether the domain offer qualifies for your chosen term and extension, and its renewal and privacy charges.
  • Whether a Professional Email trial or another optional service will convert to a paid subscription.
  • Applicable taxes and which charges may be excluded from a refund.

A low introductory monthly equivalent can therefore coexist with a higher renewal price and separate domain or add-on costs. Use the current checkout disclosure for a new purchase and your account’s Renewal Center for an existing subscription.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
