FINMA’s warning list includes TaureneFX in an entry dated 3 October 2019. The regulator identifies the provider with the website taurenefx.vip, lists Bahnhofstrasse 45, 8001 Zürich as its address, and says TaureneFX was not entered in the Swiss commercial register.

That is a regulatory warning about possible unauthorised financial-market activity. It is not, by itself, a court judgment, a fraud conviction, or proof that every customer suffered a loss. The distinction matters because several stronger claims commonly repeated online go beyond what FINMA’s published record establishes.

What FINMA’s TaureneFX entry says

The dedicated entry on FINMA’s official warning list contains the following information:

FINMA field Published detail
Name TaureneFX
Date shown 03.10.2019, or 3 October 2019
Domicile –
Address Bahnhofstrasse 45, 8001 Zürich
Internet https://taurenefx.vip/
Commercial register Not entered in commercial register
Remarks –

The entry does not name an owner or director. It does not provide a legal-entity number, country of incorporation, licence number, alleged customer losses, or a specific financial product. It also does not say that FINMA obtained a liquidation order or that a court convicted TaureneFX of fraud.

What being on FINMA’s warning list means

FINMA says its warning list covers companies and individuals that may be providing unauthorised services and are not supervised by the regulator. FINMA investigates providers when it receives information suggesting that they may be operating without the authorisation required under Swiss financial-market law.

FINMA also cautions that inclusion on the list does not automatically mean the provider’s activities were unlawful. A listing signals a lack of FINMA authorisation and regulatory concern about possible unauthorised financial-market activity. It is not, on its own, a definitive finding of criminal fraud or a civil court ruling.

According to FINMA’s explanation of the list, some investigations remain inconclusive because the relevant parties do not provide information or provide false information. Providers may also be listed when an investigation identifies an imminent and considerable threat to investors.

What the entry does not prove

The TaureneFX record should be read narrowly. Based on the published FINMA entry, it does not establish that:

  • TaureneFX was incorporated as a Swiss company;
  • the Zürich address was a verified operating office or registered office;
  • TaureneFX stole money or defrauded specific customers;
  • FINMA identified a particular amount of investor loss;
  • the website was still operating after 3 October 2019; or
  • FINMA secured a final enforcement ruling, liquidation order, or criminal conviction.

The commercial-register field says “Not entered in commercial register,” while the domicile field is blank. The Bahnhofstrasse address should therefore be described as the address shown in FINMA’s entry, not as proof that TaureneFX was a Swiss-incorporated business.

How to check the warning yourself

Readers can verify the record directly on FINMA’s website:

  1. Go to FINMA Public.
  2. Open Warnings.
  3. Select Warning list.
  4. Use the Search warning list field and enter TaureneFX.
  5. Open the result titled TaureneFX.

The entry is also available in German, French, and Italian. The substantive identifying details are the same in the available language versions. The official English-language record is available on FINMA’s TaureneFX warning-list page.

The warning is dated 2019, not 2024 or 2025

The date displayed by FINMA is 03.10.2019. In the day-month-year format used on the page, that means 3 October 2019. It should not be presented as a newly issued warning unless FINMA publishes a separate, later notice.

A dated warning can still be relevant when assessing a provider, but the date is important context. The entry itself does not say whether TaureneFX continued operating, changed its website, or accepted new customers after that date.

Why a warning-list check is not enough

FINMA states that its warning list is not exhaustive and is not updated daily. That creates two practical limitations:

  • If a provider does not appear on the list, that does not prove it is authorised, legitimate, or safe.
  • A provider may be operating without the required authorisation before it appears on the list—or without appearing there at all.

Anyone considering a financial provider should also check FINMA’s list of authorised institutions and look at other relevant sources. FINMA specifically points investors to the warning list maintained by the Zurich Cantonal Police and the IOSCO Investor Alerts Portal.

For a suspected investment scam or unauthorised service, preserve account statements, emails, website screenshots, payment records, wallet addresses, and chat messages. Do not send additional money merely because someone claiming to be a recovery agent, broker, or regulator promises to release a withdrawal.

How to describe the TaureneFX warning accurately

The most supportable summary is:

FINMA’s warning list includes TaureneFX in an entry dated 3 October 2019. FINMA lists Bahnhofstrasse 45, 8001 Zürich as the provider’s address, gives taurenefx.vip as its website, and states that TaureneFX was not entered in the Swiss commercial register. FINMA’s warning list concerns providers suspected of conducting unauthorised financial-market activities; the regulator cautions that inclusion does not automatically establish that a provider’s activities were unlawful or that it committed fraud.

Calling TaureneFX “a FINMA-listed provider of possible unauthorised financial services” reflects the regulator’s published position. Calling it a convicted scam, a confirmed fraud, or a registered Swiss company would require evidence beyond this warning-list entry.

FAQ

Did FINMA declare TaureneFX a scam?

No. FINMA lists TaureneFX in connection with possible unauthorised financial-market activity, but the regulator says warning-list inclusion does not automatically establish that a provider acted unlawfully or committed fraud.

When was the TaureneFX warning issued?

The FINMA entry displays 03.10.2019, meaning 3 October 2019. It should not be described as a recent warning without a separate later notice from FINMA.

Was TaureneFX a registered Swiss company?

FINMA’s entry says “Not entered in commercial register” and leaves the domicile field blank. The Zürich address shown on the page is not, by itself, proof of Swiss incorporation or a registered office.

Does the FINMA entry report customer losses?

No. The published entry does not state that customers lost money and does not give a loss amount.

Is the FINMA warning list complete?

No. FINMA says the list is not exhaustive and is not updated daily. A provider’s absence from the list does not prove that it is authorised or safe.

The Bottom Line

Bottom line: FINMA’s official warning list contains a TaureneFX entry dated 3 October 2019. It gives a Zürich address and the taurenefx.vip website, and records that TaureneFX was not entered in the Swiss commercial register. The warning indicates possible unauthorised financial-market activity, but the entry alone does not establish fraud, customer losses, incorporation in Switzerland, or a criminal conviction.
