Brazil’s securities regulator approved a second Solana exchange-traded fund in August 2024, according to contemporaneous reporting. Separately, an August 2024 promotional article claimed MoonTaurus (MNTR) could rise 1,300% after listing. That percentage was a forecast—not a verified return or an established expert consensus—and neither story establishes the assets’ current status.
What Brazil’s second Solana ETF approval meant
On August 20, 2024, CoinDesk reported that Brazil’s Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (CVM) had approved a second Solana ETF. The fund was offered by Hashdex in partnership with BTG Pactual. CoinDesk’s August 20 report describes the regulatory approval; it does not establish the fund’s current operating or trading status.
The “second” designation refers to the chronology of approvals: Brazil’s first Solana ETF, associated with QR Asset, had been reported approved earlier in August 2024. CoinDesk reported the earlier approval.
What was reported about SOLH11’s launch
On September 5, 2024, Exame identified Hashdex’s fund as SOLH11 and reported that it was expected to start trading on B3 the following day, September 6. Exame also described a staking program. Those were contemporaneous reports of a planned launch and product feature, not confirmation of the fund’s present availability or terms. Read Exame’s report.

Approval, a scheduled exchange start, and present-day trading status are distinct facts. The historical launch report alone cannot answer whether SOLH11 is trading now, what its current fees or custody arrangements are, or which investors can access it. Those details are not established by the cited coverage.
Where the 1,300% MoonTaurus figure came from
Crypto Daily published the MoonTaurus (MNTR) claim on August 14, 2024, while describing the token as being in presale. The article presented a possible 1,300% rise by comparing anticipated prices around a future listing. It was sponsored content and included a disclaimer that it did not reflect the publisher’s views. The article attributes the projection to analysts, but it does not provide a sufficiently substantiated named expert statement or an independently validated method for the prediction. The percentage is therefore best understood as a promotional forecast, not a proven outcome, a current estimate, or a consensus view. The coverage does not establish that MNTR later reached the anticipated price or that buyers earned that return.

How to read these two stories as an investor
The ETF approval and the MoonTaurus prediction concern separate assets and different kinds of claims. A regulator’s approval is a historical regulatory event; it is not a recommendation to buy SOL or proof of a fund’s current status. A projected percentage return for a presale token is not evidence of future performance. Neither item, on its own, supports an investment decision.
