What the $68.5 million BlockDAG figure actually means
In an August 30, 2024 announcement, BlockDAG Network said its presale had raised more than $68.5 million and announced a partnership with Inter Milan. The amount is a historical figure reported by the project, not a current independently audited fundraising total. The announcement’s headline linked the two developments, but it does not establish that the partnership caused the presale total.
BlockDAG’s current project website displayed $264.77 million in an aftersale context when viewed on October 8, 2026. That is a separate, current company claim; it should not be substituted for the 2024 presale figure or described as independently audited.
Is the Inter Milan partnership still active?
The available documentation establishes that BlockDAG announced the partnership in 2024. It does not independently confirm the partnership’s current status, terms, or outcomes. BlockDAG CEO Antony Turner described the collaboration as a milestone and said it could introduce the project to football fans; that statement appears in BlockDAG’s promotional announcement and is not independent evidence of results.

Ethereum’s next named upgrade: Glamsterdam
Ethereum.org lists Glamsterdam as an upgrade in development, with mainnet timing expected in Q4 2026. Its stated focus is reorganizing transaction processing and network data management. The roadmap highlights enshrined proposer-builder separation (ePBS) and block-level access lists (BALs), mechanisms intended to support scaling and parallel processing. Ethereum.org notes that the roadmap is community-driven and subject to change.
What the October 6 testnet date does—and does not—confirm
In its September 28, 2026 announcement, the Ethereum Foundation scheduled Glamsterdam’s Sepolia testnet activation for October 6, 2026 at 13:53:36 UTC. That scheduled time had passed by October 8, but the announcement itself does not confirm whether activation completed successfully. It also said Hoodi and mainnet activation dates were still to be determined. A testnet milestone is not a mainnet launch, and the cited information does not establish a confirmed mainnet date.

The Foundation advised node operators to update their execution and consensus clients before the scheduled Sepolia activation. That operator guidance is not an instruction for ordinary ETH holders to convert or upgrade their ETH.

Helium’s September 4, 2026 post says HIP-150 was approved effective August 31 and introduced per-site reward multipliers for eligible high-value venues. The post discusses network rewards and data usage; it does not report HNT’s spot price, the size of a price move, or a comparison period. It therefore cannot substantiate the claim that Helium’s price is going up or show that the reward change caused a price increase.
