Why the commonly quoted deposit figures are misleading
Several numbers associated with “Valbury” appear online, but they do not describe a verified current UK Valbury Capital account.
- $1, $10 and $33: These figures appear on the account page of Indonesia’s PT Valbury Asia Futures for its Alpha, Sirius and Vega accounts. That is a separate company, jurisdiction and product offering.
- $15,000: This figure appears in older third-party broker directories. No current official UK source located for this review confirms it.
- Current Valbury Capital account tiers: The Hibiscus website does not present public retail tiers such as Standard, Premium, Alpha, Sirius or Vega.
The safest conclusion is that the UK firm’s current minimum deposit is undisclosed and practically unavailable to new applicants, because the business says it is not currently servicing new clients.
What accounts does the current website describe?

Warning about clone websites
The FCA issued a warning on December 13, 2024, about hibiscusequities.com. It described that site as a clone of the authorised firm and said it had no connection with Hibiscus Group Limited.
Clone firms commonly copy a genuine company’s name, address, FCA reference number and branding. A matching FRN by itself is therefore not enough. The domain, phone number, email address and payment instructions must also be checked against independently sourced FCA information.
Do not send money merely because a website uses the Valbury or Hibiscus name, quotes a familiar FCA number or promises access to a low-deposit account. Be especially cautious if someone claims that the firm has a special $1 account, requests payment to an individual or unrelated company, or pressures you to act through an encrypted messaging service.
