Binance announced a CGPT spot listing in January 2025, but that does not confirm a new relisting or current availability. ChainGPT’s help center later said Binance spot purchases and deposits were unavailable and that Binance offered CGPT perpetual derivatives only. The two statements have different dates and come from different sources, so check Binance’s live market and deposit pages before acting.
What Binance announced in January 2025
On January 10, 2025, Binance announced it would open spot trading for ChainGPT (CGPT) at 13:00 UTC in two pairs: CGPT/USDC and CGPT/USDT. The notice described this as a listing; it does not establish a later relisting. Read Binance’s announcement.
Binance’s notice said the Seed Tag would apply. It also warned that AIXBT, CGPT, and COOKIE were relatively new tokens, posed higher-than-normal risk, and would likely be subject to high price volatility. That is a warning attached to the 2025 announcement, not confirmation of a current interface label or status.
Why a later ChainGPT page gives a different picture
ChainGPT’s Help Center page, updated June 1, 2026, says CGPT is not available for deposit or spot purchase on Binance and that Binance lists CGPT perpetual derivatives only. This is later guidance from the project, not a Binance status page. It conflicts with the historical spot-listing announcement, but neither source independently confirms Binance’s live market status on October 8, 2026. Read ChainGPT’s guidance.

Spot trading, perpetuals, and deposits are different
- Spot trading: Buying or selling CGPT in a spot market. Binance announced CGPT/USDC and CGPT/USDT spot pairs in January 2025; ChainGPT later said spot purchase was unavailable on Binance.
- Perpetual derivatives: Derivative contracts rather than direct spot purchases of the token. ChainGPT’s June 2026 page says Binance listed perpetuals only.
- Deposits and withdrawals: Moving tokens into or out of an exchange. Availability can differ from whether a trading pair or derivative product exists.
Network support is another separate matter. On August 11, 2025, Binance announced it had completed CGPT integration on Solana and opened deposits and withdrawals on that network. That notice concerns Solana network support; it does not establish that CGPT spot trading was available. Read Binance’s Solana network notice.

- Search Binance’s live spot markets for CGPT and confirm whether a pair is currently open in your region.
- Check Binance’s deposit page for CGPT and select the relevant network. Confirm that deposits are enabled before transferring tokens.
- If considering a perpetual contract, review its live product page and the risks of leveraged derivatives; a perpetual listing is not the same as spot ownership.
- Match the token and network details before sending funds. Binance’s January 2025 notice identified the BNB Smart Chain contract as
0x9840652DC04fb9db2C43853633f0F62BE6f00f98; its 2025 Solana notice concerns a different network integration. Do not infer that one network is supported for every Binance function.
Because the available notices do not verify live status for October 8, 2026, rely on Binance’s current market and deposit pages—not an old announcement or a project help article alone—before placing a trade or transfer.
