The listing dates its result entry 21 September 2024; the underlying selection notice is dated 12 September 2024. These are different dates: one is the notice date, the other the listing date.
A contemporaneous report described navigating through patna.dcourts.gov.in by opening the notices section and then recruitment. Page layouts can change, so treat that route as a reported navigation aid rather than a guaranteed current menu path. Prefer the official listing and notice PDFs, and check for later notices before relying on the original list.

The Centralized Selection and Appointment Committee-cum-District & Sessions Judge, Patna, issued the notice pursuant to its resolution dated 9 September 2024. The official notice includes category-wise cutoff marks and the number selected in each category. Check the row for your own category in the PDF; do not rely on a cutoff copied from an unofficial summary or a differently formatted extract. The notice says marks obtained by all candidates in the written test, skill test/CPT and interview would be published separately on the Civil Courts of Patna website.
Check the July 2025 additional-selection notice
A later official notice, dated 10 July 2025, records additional selection actions: one candidate was selected after representations were considered, and a further 103 candidates were selected after non-joining was reported. The notice says appointment letters would be issued by the concerned Principal District & Sessions Judges in due course.

These figures describe selections announced in that notice; they do not establish that every selected candidate received an appointment letter or joined. The July 2025 notice advises candidates to keep checking the Civil Courts, Patna website for details and updates.

This result concerns the Court Reader-cum-Deposition Writer recruitment under Employment Notice No. 03/2022, not a result for another Bihar Civil Court post. A news report gave a figure of 1,132 notified vacancies, but that figure is reported by Scroll.in and is not substantiated by the official result notice cited here. The official September 2024 notice confirms the selected-candidate count, not that vacancy total.
