Nintendo’s published 2024 and 2025 holiday offers provide historical price context, not a promise that those discounts will return. For now, compare any live listing by console model, included items, total price, format, stock, and sale dates.
What Nintendo Switch Black Friday deals are confirmed for 2026?
None of the official Nintendo of America sources reviewed establish 2026 Black Friday prices, retailer participation, or sale dates. Treat a retailer listing as a live offer only after checking its product page for the exact model, price, included items, availability, and promotion period. The historical prices below are useful comparisons, not current deals.
What Nintendo holiday offers looked like in 2025
Nintendo’s 2025 US holiday announcement listed the Nintendo Switch 2 system at a suggested retail price of $449.99 and the Switch 2 plus Mario Kart World bundle at $499.99. Those were 2025 prices, not 2026 Black Friday offers. Nintendo said selected physical Switch games would be discounted beginning November 23 at select retailers, including Nintendo’s official US stores:
- $39.99 each: Princess Peach: Showtime!, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe.
- $29.99 each: Super Mario Odyssey, Nintendo Switch Sports, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and Splatoon 3.
These announced discounts applied to selected physical games at participating retailers; they do not establish current prices or digital-game discounts. Nintendo’s 2025 holiday announcement also cautioned that savings were based on separately purchasing the system, game, and Nintendo Switch Online membership, and that actual savings may vary.

Historical Switch discounts from 2024
Nintendo’s 2024 US announcement described $20 off select Joy-Con controllers and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, and $10 off a themed carrying case. It also listed selected games at $39.99 or $29.99, including Super Mario Odyssey and Pikmin 1 + 2 at $29.99. The offer included Switch and OLED Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundles and a Switch Lite Hyrule Edition offer. These are examples of a past promotion, not evidence of 2026 pricing. See Nintendo’s 2024 holiday announcement.
Current Nintendo retail bundles as a comparison point
As of October 8, 2026, Nintendo’s US retail offers page listed two Switch 2 bundles: one with Mario Kart World for $549.99 and one with Nintendo Switch Sports Resort for $529.99. Nintendo describes the savings as based on buying the included items separately, says actual savings may vary, and makes availability subject to stock. These are retail baselines, not confirmed Black Friday offers; prices and stock can change. Check Nintendo’s US offers page for the current listing.

How to compare a console or game deal
A lower headline price is not automatically the better value. Compare the complete purchase against the items you would otherwise buy, and make sure the offer is for the version you want.
- Console: Check whether it is a standalone system or a bundle, and verify the exact console model.
- Included items: Identify the game and any Nintendo Switch Online membership, including whether each is actually included in the displayed price.
- Total cost: Compare the bundle price with the cost of purchasing its components separately. Nintendo says bundle savings may vary.
- Game format: Check whether a game is physical or digital. The 2025 Nintendo announcement concerned selected physical games, so it does not establish digital prices.
- Retailer and availability: Confirm that the seller is participating, the item is in stock, and the price applies to your region.
- Dates: Check the offer’s start and end dates. A past holiday promotion does not confirm a future one.
Where to look for legitimate discounts
Nintendo Support says digital software sales often appear through Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Store, while refurbished physical games and hardware are often sold at lower prices. Check the specific listing for condition, format, warranty details, and return terms before buying. Nintendo also states that it does not offer coupons for purchases from retailers such as GameStop; a coupon claim for a third-party retailer should not be treated as an official Nintendo coupon. See Nintendo Support’s discount guidance.
