Costco’s $524.99 Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World offer is not confirmed by the available Costco listings. A Costco Same-Day result displayed $512.99 for a bundle, while another Costco listing describes a version with a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Individual Membership but shows no price. Nintendo’s announced U.S. bundle is $549.99 and includes three months of Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. Check Costco’s current local listing and checkout total before treating $524.99 as the price or assuming which membership is included.
What Costco’s listings establish—and what they do not
Both Costco results refer to a Nintendo Switch 2 with a full digital download of Mario Kart World, but the details differ. The Costco Same-Day result displayed $512.99; its result did not state that an online membership was included. A separate Costco comparison listing describes a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Individual Membership, but displays no price. Costco cautions that warehouse prices and availability can vary locally.

Those results do not verify a current $524.99 checkout price or prove that the membership-included configuration is the one available to you. The $512.99 result was retrieved about three weeks before this price check, so it is a reference point, not a live quote. How the Costco offer compares with Nintendo’s bundle
Nintendo announced a U.S. price of $549.99 for its Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle. It includes the game as a full digital download and a three-month (90-day) Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. Nintendo says this bundle saves $37.98 versus buying its included items separately; that is Nintendo’s own comparison, not an independent savings calculation. Nintendo’s product page directs shoppers to retailers and reported the bundle as currently unavailable through Nintendo’s store, so it confirms the configuration and announced price, not Nintendo-store stock.

How to decide whether the Costco price is worth it
Compare like with like at checkout rather than judging by the bundle price alone. The Costco listing with a 12-month Expansion Pack membership is not the same configuration as Nintendo’s three-month Individual Membership offer; the membership tier and duration differ. A longer or different membership only adds value if you would use that service.
- Verify the exact final price and whether Costco’s current local offer is available for your preferred fulfillment method.
- Confirm whether the bundle includes a membership, and check its tier and duration.
- Make sure the game is supplied as a digital download and that format works for you.
- Compare the complete set of included items against Nintendo’s announced $549.99 bundle, not just the console-and-game price.
If Costco’s checkout confirms $524.99, use the displayed item description to identify which configuration you are buying. The available listings do not establish that this price includes the 12-month Expansion Pack membership.
